How To make Tandoori Marinade
Stephen Ceideburg 2 c Nonfat yogurt
1/4 c Fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 tb Minced peeled ginger root
3 Cloves garlic, minced
2 Jalapeno or other hot
-chilies, seeded and minced 2 Bay leaves
2 ts Paprika
1 1/2 ts Ground cumin
1 1/2 ts Ground coriander
1 ts Turmeric
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Freshly ground black pepper
1/8 ts Ground cardamom
In India, meat that has been marinated in a mixture of yogurt and spices is roasted in a giant urn-shaped clay oven called a tandoor. Use this marinade with poultry, lamb or seafood Drain yogurt in a cheesecloth lined colander in the refrig- erator for 2 hours. Reserve the liquid for another use (baking or sauces). Place the drained yogurt in a bowl and stir in the remaining ingredients. Discard bay leaves before cooking. Makes 1 3/4 cups. From an article by Steven Raichlen in The San Mateo Times, 5/25/93.

►Ingredients for the Tandoori Chicken
►Tandoori Masala
Blend 5 dry kashmiri chilies and 3 dry red chilies (add more red chili for more heat)
1 tbsp cumin powder
2 tbsp coriander powder
2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp garam masala
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
2 tbsp mango powder
1 tbsp lemon grass powder
►Chicken Prep
Chicken wings (1.5 kg / 3.3 lbs)
Juice and zest of one lemon
2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp salt
►Tandoori Marinade
1 cup natural yogurt
4 tbsp tandoori masala (add more if you want)
1 tsp red food color
2 tsp salt or to taste
9 tbsp oil
►Chips
1 small red onion
Half green pepper
I red chili
2 spring onions
50g butter and some oil
2 tbsp marinade
Large portion of cooked chips
Some tandoori masala
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp msg
►Sauce
Handful fresh mint
3 green bullet chilies
1/4 cup water
1 cup yogurt
2 tbsp marinade
1 tsp tandoori masala
Salt to taste

Best Tandoori Masala Marinade | Kravings
It’s easy to just go out and but store bought marinade, but you can’t compare it to this spectacular blend of spices. Try it for yourself!
Here are the ingredients and steps to make this recipe!
Ingredients
1.5 cups of Yogurt
1 tsp red Kashmiri Chilli powder
1/2 tsp dried Fenugreek also known as Kasuri methi
1/2 tsp Turmeric
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1/2 tsp Coriander powder
1/2 tsp Cumin
1/2 tsp Garam masala
1/2 tsp Chaat masala
1 tsp Black salt
2 tsps of Ginger and Garlic paste
And 1 tbsp Mustard Oil
1/8 spoon red food colouring
Instructions
Mix everything together and store in the fridge for upto 3 days
