How To make Sweet Potato Pie(From My Garden)
3 large sweet potatoes
peeled, sliced,
boiled 2 sticks butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 eggs :
beaten
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 homemade or pre-made pie crusts
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In large bowl mash potatoes while still hot . Add butter and mix well. Stir in sugar and eggs. Add milk and vanilla. Stir to combine. Pour into pie crusts. Bake for 1 hour. Serve hot or room temperature.

Asalam alaikum. This recipe is so eaay. Japanese Sweet Potatoes are worth the extra money. They are sooo good and this pie tasted amazing ♡
RECIPE
3 Large Japanese Sweet Potatoes
1 Tablespoon of Vanilla Butter Nut Extract
2 Teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon Almond Extract
1/4 Cup Mylk
3 Ripe Bananas
1 Pie Crust
Boil three large Japanese Sweet Potatoes for about 35mins, until soft and skin peels from potatoes.
Remove skin from potatoes and add to a large mixing bowl.
Add Vanilla Butter Nut Extract, Ground Cinnamon, Almond Extract and Mylk (I used Soy).
Instead of sugar and egg, I added 3 ripe bananas.
Blend until smooth.
Spoon potato mixture into pie crust (Food Lion Pie Crust is accidentally vegan - only available in North Carolina USA, sorry).
Take a second to lick the spoon. Its egg free, so eat as much as you want.
Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes, let rest for 20 minutes to set up and eat warm it's the best.

Ingredients
3 large or 2 medium Sweet potatoes
1 stick melted butter
11/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup + 2 tbsp brown sugar
1 (5 oz) can evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla
3 beaten eggs
1 tsp pumpkin spice
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 pie crust
Bake sweet potatoes at 380 in the oven until soft (about 60 mins)
remove skin...
Beat potatoes with mixer removing the strings
Beat in melted butter, sugar, and eggs. Next add the rest of the ingredients .
Add filling to pie crust evenly. Bake a 350 for 1 hour

Today we make one of my favourite fall treats.... with a twist. Pumpkin pie is awesome, but we wanted to use an ingredient we all know and love... SWEET POTATOES!

Recipe:
Pie Filling
2 Cups of roasted Sweet Potato (peeled)
1/2 Coconut Sugar (or other dry sugar - use more for a sweeter pie)
1/2 Cup Full Fat canned Coconut Milk
2 Tbsp Ground Flax mixed with 5 Tbsp Water
2 Tsp Pumpkin Spice (add more if you want!)
Pie Crust
1.5 Cups of Oats
1/2 Cup Pecans
2.5 Tbsp Maple Syrup
1.5 Tbsp Coconut Milk (from the same can used for the pie filling)
1/4 Tsp Salt
Method
Combine all the pie filling ingredients into a blender or food processor until smooth.
Combine all the ingredients for the pie crust into a food processor and blend until uniform and it sticks together.
Press into a 9 pie dish.
Add pie filling.
Cover edges with foil to prevent burning.
Bake at 350f for 45-50 minutes.
Allow to cool before serving.

SWEET POTATO PIE | Pecan Crumble Topping #sweetpotatopie
A richly spiced pie with optional Crumble! Use either Pumpkin or Sweet Potato filling
Makes one 10-inch Deep Dish Pie or two 9-inch regular dish Pies.
PIE INGREDIENTS
4 Cups Sweet Potatoes, mashed or 4 Cups Pumpkin Puree*
1 1/2 Cups Granulated Sugar
4 Large Eggs
1/2 Cup Heavy Cream or Half 'n Half or whole Milk
1/4 Cup Melted Butter, cooled
2 Tsp Vanilla
2 Tsp Cinnamon (I actually use 1 TBSP)
1/2 Tsp Nutmeg
1/2 Tsp Cloves
1/2 Tsp Ginger
Orange Zest, optional & adds a nice flavor boost to this pie
PECAN CRUMBLE, Optional, Recipe for ONE PIE Topping
3/4 Cup Flour
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
1/4 Cup Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans
6 TBSP Melted Butter
*for Fresh Pumpkin Puree, drain well & if needed, add a couple TBSP flour to thicken
CRUST
One Parbaked 10-inch Deep Dish Crust or Two Parbaked 9-inch Regular Crusts
Bake @ 350 degrees F for 60 to 70 minutes.
