How To make Sweet Onion Bread
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cups diced onions
4 eggs, -- separated
1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup apple juice
1 teaspoon minced ginger
3 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. In a saut_ pan, heat the olive oil. When the oil is hot, caramelize the onions for about 10 minutes. In an electric mixer with a whip attachment, whip the egg whites until stiff. Switch the whip attachment to a paddle attachment and cream the butter and sugar together. Add the egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each yolk. With the machine running add the apple juice and ginger. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt and pepper, together. With the machine on low speed, alternate adding the flour 1/3 at a time with the milk. Do not over mix the batter. Fold in the stiff egg whites. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center of the bread comes out clean. Remove the pan from the oven and invert onto a wire rack. Allow the bread to cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Slice a couple of slices from the loaf and place the loaf and the slices on a plate.

Ingredients
Makes 1 loaf
Caramelized Onion
1 large onion, chopped or thinly sliced
1 bunch green onion bulbs, chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
salt
Dough
4 cups (500g) flour
1 tsp (5g) salt
25 g fresh yeast (2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast)
1 bunch green onion leaves, finely chopped
1 1/3 cup (320 ml) warm water

1. In a frying pan heat oil over medium heat. Cook onion until soft and golden brown, for about 7 minutes. Season with salt. Set aside to cool.
2. In a large bowl, mix flour with green onion leaves. Dissolve the fresh yeast with salt and 1/3 cup (80 ml) water and add to the flour mixture. Add the rest of 1 cup (240 ml) water, mix everything together then add caramelized onion and knead until the dough is smooth and pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Cover it and let it sit for about 1 hour at room temperature to rise until doubled in size.
3. On a floured surface roll the dough into a loaf. Place in a 6x10 inch (15x25cm) baking tray and leave to rise again for 30 minutes. A regular loaf pan should be as good. Optional sprinkle salt and few green onion chopped leaves on top.
4. Preheat oven to 470F (240C). Place a small pot with water at the base of the oven to create steam.
5. Bake for 15 minutes with steam then remove the pot with water from the oven.
6. Reduce oven temperature to 450F (230C) and bake for another 10-15 minutes.
7. Cool on a wire rack. Let the bread cool completely before cutting.

Onion Bread at Home | How to make onion bread | Bread with a delicious twist
Ingredients:
2 medium onion rings
1 tbsp oil
2 eggs
40g margarine
200 ml lukewarm milk
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt or to taste
125g grated cheddar cheese
275g all-purpose flour
3 tsp baking powder
Slice the onions into rings.
Preheat the oven to 190 °C & grease the loaf tin; keep that aside.
Heat the oil in the frying pan,
Fry the onion ring for 8 to 10 minutes and let it cool down.
In a bowl, mix the eggs, margarine and milk.
Add sugar, salt, cheese and flour; mix well.
Add in the cooled onion rings.
Place the mixture in the loaf tin and bake for about 30 to 40 minutes.

4 cups juice pulp
1 large sweet onion
1/2 cup flax seed meal
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp tamari
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup water
Seasoning of choice (I used):
2 tbsp. oregano
1 tbsp. basil
2 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. crushed fennel seeds
1/4 tsp. cayanne
sea salt
black pepper

STEP 1
Juice desired juice and save 4 cups of the pulp
Grind the flax seeds in a blender or processor until fine
Peel, chop and blend sweet onion until smooth
STEP 2
Place the pulp, flax seed meal, sweet onion puree, olive oil and water into a food processor. Process for a few minutes scraping down the sides if necessary
Add the maple syrup, tamari and seasoning of choice. Process until all is combined
STEP 3
On a dehydrator sheet or parchment paper, spread the bread mixture out evenly with a spatula.
Cut edges (optional)
STEP 4
Place into a dehydrator for 8 hours (or overnight) at a temperature of 115F or 46C. Remove the bread after 8 hours and flip over. Place back into the dehydrator for another 2 hours.
Remove bread, cut into slices and serve with desired topping. Store in an air tight container.
*if you decide to divide the mixture and place on two trays reduce the cooking time. Cook for 5 hours and flip over. Place back into the dehydrator for a further 1-2 hours.

The weight of bread - 380 gr
For the dough:
The all-purpose flour - 200 gr
Warm water - 150 ml
Dry yeast - 4 gr
Salt - 5 gr
Sugar - 5 gr
Vegetable oil - 20 ml
For filling:
Onion - 140 gr
Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp
Oven - 200C/392F
Time - 30-40 minutes

STEP BY STEP RECIPE:
In a bowl sift all the flour, add salt, sugar and dry yeast.
Mix everything thoroughly so that the ingredients are evenly distributed over the flour.
In flour make a well in the middle and pour into it warm water and vegetable oil.
Knead soft and elastic dough.
Ready put the dough in a bowl greased with vegetable oil and the dough is a little oil, cover and put in warm place to rise for 1-1.5 hours.
While the dough rises, prepare the onion filling.
Peel and dice the onion.
Fry the onion in a well-heated pan with vegetable oil until soft and Golden brown.
Ready onions put into a bowl and leave to cool to room temperature.
When the dough has risen and doubled in volume, mix it with the fried onion.
Put the dough in a bowl and put again to rise for 1 hour.
After 1 hour of dough to form a loaf of bread, cover with a film and leave for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, sprinkle the bread with flour and make cuts with a knife.
Bake bread in a preheated 200C/392F oven for 30-40 minutes.
Ready bread should have a good crust to check the readiness of the wooden sticks.
After the oven, leave the bread to cool under the towel for 30 minutes.
