It is also perfect for any occasion, whether it is a family gathering, a picnic, or a holiday celebration.
✅To make this apple pie with cottage cheese, you will need the following ingredients:
* 4 apples (700 g)
* 3 eggs
* 500 g of cottage cheese (5% fat)
* 100 g of corn flour
You will also need some optional ingredients, such as cinnamon, vanilla extract, and honey.
✅The preparation is very easy and quick. Here are the steps:
1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit) and line a baking pan with parchment paper or grease it with butter.
2. Take 3 apples (about 500 g in total), wash them well, and remove the cores. You can leave the peel on if you prefer.
3. Cut the apples into small pieces and put them in a food processor along with the eggs. Blend them until smooth.
4. Add the cottage cheese and the corn flour to the food processor and mix well. You can also add some cinnamon or vanilla extract for extra flavor if you like.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
6. Slice the remaining apple and arrange it on top of the batter. Sprinkle some more cinnamon if desired.
7. Bake the pie in the oven for about 50 minutes or until golden and firm.
8. Let the pie cool completely before cutting into slices.
9. If you want to make it even more delicious, you can drizzle some honey over the pie before serving. It will complement the taste of apples and cinnamon very well.
And that’s it! You have just made a tasty and healthy apple pie with cottage cheese that everyone will love. Enjoy!
