Jalapeño Popper Corn Dogs Recipe | How to Fry Cheese & Bacon Stuffed Jalapenos
Jalapeno Poppers are a grilling staple for any backyard BBQ master, but after a few dozen tries, you might be looking for a new twist to the old standby. Jalapeno Popper Corn Dogs are that twist! These whole jalapenos are stuffed with cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and bacon, then fried whole in a corndog batter. You end up with a knockout party bite that combines the salty savory flavors of a popper with the sweet and savory taste of corndogs, and everything finishes off with that subtle jalapeno heat. Long story short, they're delicious and something both your BBQ and your Carny friends can finally agree on.

Ingredients
8 large jalapenos
6-8 pieces of cooked crispy bacon, then crumbled
2 qts. frying oil (peanut, canola, vegetable, etc.)
8 oz. cream cheese
4 oz. shredded cheese
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup all purpose flour
1/4 sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
4 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1 cup milk
Dipping sauces
Supplies
1 Long skewer bamboo, wooden, or metal
High walled pan or pot for frying (or deep fryer)
Sharp knife
Silicon spatula
Stand Mixer (optional)
2 Large mixing bowls

COOK WITH ME // Jalapeño Crescent Poppers
I made these Jalapeño Crescent Poppers for the Super Bowl, but they are good for any party or every day if you are like us.
Jalapeño Crescent Poppers
8 oz pillsbury crescent dough sheet
6 oz cream cheese, softened
4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
4 oz can diced jalapeño, drained
Combine cream cheese, bacon, and jalapeño. Lay out dough sheet and cut in half longways. Spread half cheese mixture on each section of dough. Roll into two ropes with cheese on the inside of the roll. Cut each rope into 16 pieces. This makes 32 pieces total. Place onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven at 375º for 13 minutes.

Gameday Smoked Pulled Pork Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers
On this video, I smoked up some pulled pork stuffed Jalapeno poppers topped with muenster cheese. I put a nice heaping amount of pulled pork on each jalapeno popper then wrapped them with thick cut bacon. These poppers are the perfect game day snack!
