How To make Strawberry Pound Cake
-JUDI M. PHELPS 4 Eggs
1/2 lb Butter; (do not substitute
-margarine) 1 1/2 c Sugar
2 c All-purpose flour
2 ts Baking powder
1/2 c Milk
1 ts Vanilla extract
1 c Whipping cream; whipped,
-optional 2 tb Powdered sugar
2 c Strawberries; sliced
Grated orange rind; optional Beat the eggs until foamy. In separate bowl, combine butter and sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Blend in beaten eggs and stir until thoroughly combined. Set aside. Combine flour and baking powder. Sift together 3 times. Gradually add flour mixture alternately with the milk to egg mixture, beginning and ending with flour. Mix until well combined. Stir in vanilla. Lightly oil and flour a 10-inch bundt pan. Pour in cake batter. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 45 to 50 minutes or until a tester inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack. Spoon whipped cream sweetened with powdered sugar into center of ring. Garnish with strawberry slices and orange rind, if desired. Tips: This cake is also good just sprinkled with powdered sugar. Shared and MM by Judi M. In this video, I teach you how to make fresh strawberry pound cake from scratch. This recipe uses fresh strawberries and is made with all-purpose flour. It is the strawberry season right now but if you can't get fresh strawberries you can use frozen.

Here is the recipe
1 pint strawberries
1 cup butter
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup strawberry pureé
1 (.3 oz) pkg. strawberry Jello
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Instructions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Pureé strawberries in a food processor. Then in a pot on the stove reduce the volume to half so you have at least a 1/2 cup of pureé.
3. Cream butter & sugar in a mixer for 5 minutes.
4. Add eggs one at a time until well mixed.
5. Add buttermilk & strawberry pureé and mix.
6. Add vanilla extract and mix.
7. Then mix in dry ingredients in 3rds and mix until well combined.
8. Pour cake batter into a well-greased and floured bunt pan, bake at 350 degrees F. for 55-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Note: For dark pans reduce oven to 325 degrees F.

Amazing Strawberry Pound Cake | Butter Cake Recipe
Strawberry Pound Cake | Butter Cake Recipe – it’s super moist and soft, amazing texture and flavour. At times we might be bored with original butter cake. Thus by adding in some fruit may give you a nice fresh fragrant in addition to the butter fragrant. I did both egg and eggless version for this. They are both pretty easy with minimal ingredients. If you do not have self-raising flour, you can always use all-purpose flour + ½ tsp of baking powder, that’s it. Ingredients:
I used 17.5x7.5x7.5cm loaf pan
115g [½ cup] unsalted butter, softened
45g [3 tbsp] strawberry puree
100g [½ cup] castor sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp salt
2 large eggs OR 120g [½ cup] plain yogurt
120g [1 cup] self-raising flour
20g [3 tbsp] strawberries, chopped
egg substitute:
120g [½ cup] plain yogurt
Instruction:
1. Preheat oven at 170°C/340°F.
2. Wash the strawberries. Strain and set aside to let dry.
3. Slice the butter and place them in a large mixing bowl. Set aside until it is softened for use later.
4. Cut the strawberries in slices. Blend in a food processor until it has become puree. Scoop 3 tablespoon of puree and set aside.
5. Chop some strawberries for the fillings later. Set it aside.
6. In the large mixing bowl of butter, once the butter is softened, add in the sugar. Mix on high speed until creamy, fluffy and pale.
7. Add in vanilla extract and salt. Mix until combined.
8. Add in the eggs***, one at a time. Mix until well combined.
9. Add in the blended puree. Mix until well combined.
10. Sift in the flour in 2 batches, fold until combined. Do not over mix.
11. Transfer half the batter into the prepared baking pan, greased and lined with parchment paper.
12. Add the chopped strawberries on random spots. Transfer the balance batter on top. Again add the chopped strawberries on random spots.
13. Bake in preheated oven at 170°C/340°F for 40-50 minutes. After the first 15 minutes of baking, slit a line in the middle of the pan so that it cracks beautifully in the middle.
14. Remove the cake from the pan. Let the cake cool completely on the rack before slicing.
***Remark: Egg substitute: replace with 120g [½ cup] plain yogurt.

Charlie Demonstrates on how to make his delicious and moist Strawberry pound cake. This cake unlike all the other Strawberry Pound cakes out there has four types of Strawberry flavor in it. It has Strawberry Extract, Strawberry Sauce, Strawberry Puree and Strawberry instant pudding in it. We add that into the cake in small quantities along with one pound of Butter, Sugar eggs and flour.
