Spritz Cookies Without Press, press cookies recipe
How to make spritz cookies without a cookie press recipe
How to make Press cookies recipe
DIY press cookie with plastic bottle or PET bottle
We wouldn't have a cookie press and a piping bag to make cookies. Fortunately, if there is a plastic bottle at home, making cookies is possible. If there are several lids of it, we can not only make various cookie shapes but also can store the cookie dough in plastic bottles with the lids, preventing drying cookie dough.
Steps are too much easy.
1. Make the cookies dough
2. Put it in a plastic bottle and squeeze it.
3. Bake it in an oven to complete the cookie.
It's a really awesome cookie recipe. Enjoy it with your family and friends.

RECIPE:
Impress! Vanilla-Honey Spritz
1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) butter, softened (not melted) (I recommend Land O Lakes brand as I know it creams well. I have had trouble with some generic butters not creaming properly and making the dough hard to press.)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup honey
1 and 1/2 Tablespoons vanilla extract
1 egg
4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
GEL food coloring (NOT liquid), I used Kelly green
Preheat oven to 400°F.
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. Using an electric mixer, cream the butter very well. Creaming your butter extremely well until it is fluffy is the key to great spritz cookies. I like to pretend I’m making frosting and use the “whip” setting on my mixer. Add the sugar, then the honey, then the extracts and egg, re-creaming the mixture after each new addition. Next add the flour mixture slowly, mixing on a slow speed until a soft dough forms. Perfect spritz dough has a soft malleable texture that is not too sticky or too stiff.
Remember you can add water a tablespoon at a time to stiff dough, or add flour a tablespoon at a time to sticky dough to troubleshoot.
Bake for 6 to 10 minutes. Check early and often as spritz cookies brown quickly. Let sit 3 or 4 minutes and move to cooking rack. Makes about 110 cookies.
DECORATING: Use colored icing and decorating tips to add decorations. The photo blog of this recipe shows closeup pictures and a written discussion of the techniques, plus dough and pressing troubleshooting!

Spritzgebäck (german biscuits)
Buon Appetito!
Today we make german biscuits. Spritzgebäck, also known as Spritz cookies or Spritz biscuits, is a type of traditional German cookie that is popular during the Christmas season. The name Spritzgebäck comes from the German word spritzen, which means to squirt or to spray, referring to the method of shaping the dough.
Spritzgebäck cookies are deliciously buttery and often enjoyed plain or dusted with powdered sugar. They make a delightful treat to serve during the holiday season or any time you're in the mood for some classic German cookies.

Spritz Cookies (Classic Version) - Joyofbaking.com
Recipe here: Stephanie Jaworski of Joyofbaking.com demonstrates how to make Spritz Cookies. Spritz Cookies, also known as Swedish Butter Cookies or Pressed Butter Cookies, are a very popular Christmas cookie, not only in Scandinavia, but also here in North America. They have a lovely sweet and buttery vanilla flavor with a texture that is tender crisp. As their name implies, Spritz is German for spritzen meaning to squirt, which is exactly what is done with this cookie dough. By that I mean we make these cookies using a cookie press (gun).

Butter Spritz Cookies
RECIPE COURTESY OF FOOD NETWORK KITCHEN
Level: Easy
Total: 23 min
Active: 15 min
Yield: 5 dozen cookies
Ingredients
2 sticks (8 ounces) unsalted butter
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 large egg
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (see Cook's Note)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon fine salt
Sprinkles for garnish
Directions
Special equipment: a cookie press (a.k.a. spritz gun)
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Beat the butter and sugar with an electric mixer in a large bowl until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Add the vanilla and almond extracts and the egg and mix to incorporate; don't worry if the mixture seems to separate.
Sift together the flour and baking powder and add to the creamed butter. Mix until combined.
Using a cookie press, press the cookies onto ungreased baking sheets. Top with sprinkles of your choice. Bake until firm but not yet browning, 6 to 8 minutes. After a few minutes, move cookies to a rack and cool.
Cook’s Note
Cook's Note: When measuring flour, we spoon it into a dry measuring cup and level off excess. (Scooping directly from the bag compacts the flour, resulting in dry baked goods.)
