How To make Snickerdoodles 3
1 c Butter; softened
1 1/2 c Sugar
2 Eggs
2 3/4 c Flour
2 ts Cream of tartar
1 ts Baking soda
1/4 ts Salt
Mix butter, sugar and eggs thoroughly with a mixer. Sift dry ingredients together and stir into first mixture. Chill dough, form in balls, roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture. ⚪️Ingredients you will need:
Cookie Dough
350g Flour
4.5g Cream of Tartar
3g Baking Soda
1.5g Cinnamon Ground
225g Unsalted Butter, room temperature
225g Sugar
1 Egg
1 Egg Yolks
10ml Vanilla Extract
Topping
60g Sugar
2.5g Cinnamon Ground

⚪️Instructions if you need it:
Step 1 - Topping
1.Mix Sugar and cinnamon together and set aside for later
Step 2 - Cookie Dough
1.In a bowl mix all dry ingredients together : Flour, Cream of tartar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon
2.In a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, Cream soft butter and sugar
3.Add The egg, the yolk and the cinnamon
4. Add in 3 parts the dry mix until barely mixed
5. Finish it by hand
Step 3 - Shaping the cookie
1.Form 1.5 - 2 tablespoon balls of cookie dough
2.Roll them in the cinnamon sugar
3. Place on a baking sheet
Step 4 - Baking
1.Bake at 375F for about 10 minutes until they are starting to golden
2.Eat it right away ;)

Hi and welcome. In this video I'm making Snickerdoodles. These are my son's favorite cookie all year long but they especially great for the holidays. Are you participating in a Cookie Swap? These are just perfect for that. They are easy but delicious. A real crowd pleaser. Here is a list of ingredients but feel free to double the recipe if you think you'll need more. This made 47 cookies but how many you get will depend on the size of your cookies.
1 cup vegetable shortening
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
2 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
(in the video I use more but that's because I use it for cinnamon toast for my grands)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Bake 8-10 minutes
The Best Soft & Chewy Snickerdoodle Cookies
Here is what you'll need!
THE BEST SOFT AND CHEWY SNICKERDOODLE COOKIES
Makes 24 cookies
INGREDIENTS
¼ cup sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1 cup butter, softened
2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sugar
⅓ cup brown sugar
2 eggs
3 cups flour
1 tablespoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
PREPARATION
1. Preheat the oven to 375˚F(190˚C).
2. In a small bowl, mix together sugar and cinnamon until evenly incorporated. Set aside.
3. In a large mixing bowl whip the butter with vanilla until light and fluffy.
4. Add the sugar and brown sugar and mix until well incorporated.
5. Add the eggs and stir until thoroughly incorporated.
6. Using a sift add the flour, cream of tartar, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt and sift into the dough. Combine until evenly mixed.
7. Using your hands roll dough into ping pong sized balls.
8. Dip the dough into cinnamon sugar mixture and roll around covering the dough ball completely.
9. Place cookie dough on parchment paper-lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
10. Enjoy!
