3 c Cooked AM Kidney Beans
-- (1-1/2 cups dried) 1 Onion; chopped
8 oz Cream cheese; OR...
1 c -Creamy tofu
1/2 c Mild picante sauce
2 tb Tamari sauce (optional)
1 tb Chili powder
1/2 c Green enchilada sauce
1 ts Garlic powder

HIGH-PROTEIN TWO BEAN DIP | BLACK BEAN & KIDNEY BEAN HUMMUS | HEALTHY CHUTNEY | VEGAN SPREAD

This is the simplest recipe for a high protein dip or chutney, using black beans and kidney beans. It is totally customizable and you may try this with any type of beans.
In an attempt to substitute the common onion and coconut chutneys with something much more nutritious, I took inspiration from the hummus recipe of the Middle-East to make this yummy dip. Do try it and share your comments in the box below :)

Mediterranean White Bean Dip ready in 15 mins!!!

Ingredients
15 ounces cooked white beans (butter beans, cannellini, Great Northern) rinsed
2 garlic cloves
6 sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil
1/4 cup olive oil plus more for garnish
1/4 cup water
3-4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried oregano
pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
Garnish:
capers
olives
feta cheese
olive oil
Instructions
Place the garlic in a food processor and pulse until minced.
Add the sun-dried tomatoes and pulse until finely chopped.
Add the beans and puree.
Add the feta cheese, crushed red pepper flakes, water, oregano, and lemon juice and puree until smooth.
Taste and add salt f needed.
transfer the dip onto a serving plate or bowl and garnish it with olive oil, capers, feta, and your favorite toppings.
