How To make Slow Cooker Beef Tips
Ingredients

flour

beef, or sirloin tips
1/2
cup
shallots, or green onions, chopped
2
each
mushrooms, sliced, 4 oz cans, drained OR 1/2 lb fresh, sliced
1
each
beef broth, condensed, 10 1/2 oz can
1
teaspoon
worcestershire sauce
2
teaspoon
tomato paste, or ketchup
1/4
cup
dry red wine, or water
3
tablespoon
flour
1
noodles, cooked, hot, buttered
Directions:
Combine 1/2 cup flour with the salt and pepper and toss with beef cubes to coat throughly. Place in crockpot. Add shallots and mushrooms. Combine beef broth, worcestershire sauce and tomato paste. Pour over beef and vegetables; stir well. Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 12 hours or on High for 4 to 6 hours.
One hour before serving, turn to High setting. Make a smooth paste of red wine and 3 tablespoons flour; stir into crockpot, mixing well. Cover and cook until thickened. Serve over hot buttered noodles.

Slow Cooker Beef Tips and Rice
Ingredients
2 pounds beef stew meat
1 (10.75-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (1.61-ounce) packet brown gravy mix (see note)
1 beef bullion cube
1 cup water
1 small onion chopped
Instructions
Combine the ingredients in the bowl of a 4-quart slow cooker and mix to combine. Cook covered on low for 7 to 8 hours. Serve over hot white rice.
Notes
*If you can't find the larger packet of brown gravy mix (one that makes 2 cups of gravy) then you can use two smaller packets.
*Find the gravy too thin? Simply mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of cold broth or water in a small bowl. Stir the mixture into the slow cooker. Cover and increase the heat to high for about 20 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.

Recipe:
2 lb. Chuck Roast
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 Pkg Onion Soup Miz
1 can Mushrooms-drained
1 TBSP or 3 cloves of minced garlic
1C Chicken Broth
1/2 tsp Thyme
1/2 tsp Oregano
1/2 tsp Basil
1/2 tsp Dried Mustard
Place ingredients in crockpot/slowcooker and cook on low all day or on high for 4-6 hours. Serve over rice or egg noodles.

It has been a while since I've cooked on my page but wanted to share a simple crockpot meal with you today. This is something that is almost foolproof and the beef tips will be so tender you can cut them with a fork. Feel free to add any seasonings you might like, but we sure like it just like the recipe below. Hope you will try it and let me know.

Slow Cooker Beef Tips
SLOW COOKER BEEF TIPS
PRINTABLE RECIPE AND NUTRITIONAL INFO:
This is one of the most popular recipes on my site right now! Very easy to make and great over mashed potatoes.
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
2 Tbsp. salted butter
salt and pepper to taste
4 lbs. stew beef I used top round, cut into 1 inch chunks
2.5 cups beef stock
2 cloves garlic Minced
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
.87 oz. package brown gravy
2 Tbsp. dried minced onion
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
INSTRUCTIONS:
Season the beef with salt and pepper and set aside.
Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat until lightly smoking, add the butter and stew beef. Brown the beef on all sides. (Do not cook beef all the way through, just brown the outside). About 3 Minutes.
Add the browned beef to the slow cooker pot. In a large bowl, whisk together the beef stock, garlic, cornstarch, brown gravy packet, minced onion and worcestershire sauce. Pour over the beef and cook on low for 5-6 hours.
Beef will be down when fork tender and the gravy has thickened.
Serve over mashed potatoes, rice or egg noodles. Enjoy!
