Apple Croissant Roll Ups! (Made with Orange Juice!)
The orange juice is the secret!
We went to Sheila's Mom's house for the holidays and I tasted the most delicious Apple Croissant Roll Up things I ever ate!
Take about 3 granny smith apples and peal and slice then
into long wedges.
Open up 2 tubes of croissants (8 oz. tubes)
Roll them a bit flat and sprinkle on sugar and cinnamon.
Mixture of 75% sugar and 25% cinnamon. Good bunch!
Roll up a long piece of apple in the croissant and space them
out in a spayed 9 X 13 baking dish. Pour 1 and 1/2 sticks of butter over them then 3/4 cup sugar. Then pour 3/4 cup orange juice mixed with 3/4 cup water. Any extra
Bake it in a 375 degree oven for 40 minutes.
Let it cool for about 1 hour if you can stand it that long!
Top with Cool Whip or Ice Cream!
Enjoy!
