1/2 c Butter 3/4 c Sugar 1 lg Egg 1 tb Milk or cream 1/4 ts Salt 2 c Flour 1/4 ts Nutmeg OR 1 ts Vanilla extract Cream butter and sugar together. Beat in egg, then milk. Add vanilla.
