How To make Rhonda's Black Bean Veggie Burritos
1 Green or red pepper, seeded
And chopped 1 Onion (I used red) chopped
1 To 4 Garlic Cloves minced
1 Jalapeno pepper (optional)
2 cn Black beans, drained
1 cn Corn kernals (the vacuum
Packed type), drained 1 cn Tomato paste (the small
Kind) 1 To 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
x Cumin, Thyme, Cayenne pepper (to taste, I used about 1 ts Each.
Saute vegetables in balsamic vinegar with the spices until soft and onion is clear. Add rest of the ingredients, stir up and cook till warm. (I used a 12 in. nonstick skillet and it was full to the top!) Should be thick, not liquid. Spoon into ff flour tortillas , roll up, and bake for 10-15 minutes. I had some steamed kale left over and rolled it up with the filling interesting addition, I liked it! I also added some ff soyakass jalepeno "cheese" Warning! This makes a lot! I ate 2 each evening for 5 days, and still had filling left over to freeze. It freezes well. Also, when cold, I just microwaved for 2-3 minutes (with a damp paper towel to keep the tortillas from getting tough), and that worked fine, too. I did not use a jalepeno in my version, just personal taste. Obviously, I liked them a lot to eat so many days in a row, but they were easy to fix! Hope you all like 'em. I’m Bonnie and by day I work as a full time, USA Today Best-Selling Author with multiple pen names while homeschooling my 6 beautiful children, as well as running three other companies from my home. Research for one of my pen names that specializes in apocalyptic thriller fiction as well as other survivor fiction led me to an obsession in prepping. But I don’t want to pack away 52 tons of raw wheat. I want to go into the End of the World with Spaghetti O’s and ice cream sandwiches. With my freeze dryer, now, I can.
When I got the freeze drying (FD) bug, I had to share with my mother-in-law, Rhonda. She was so excited, she got her own! You’ll see some tips and recipes in here that are from her. She takes terrific pictures and she’s very precise – both are huge assets! I’m grateful for her enthusiasm to share and learn and I know you’ll get awesome info out of the work she contributes!

If you’re not interested in keto, but you’d like to eat all the foods, try anything we’ve got listed over in the foods and recipes section. One of my favorites and easiest is the raw egg powder!

I hope you give this recipe a try. It's One Pot Mexican Quinoa. It is my favorite go to meal! It's easy to travel with as well. I made this in my Instant Pot but if you don't have one, that's ok too. Just follow the Quinoa directions on the package.

Rhonda Patrick interviews Rich Roll on the Environmental Impact of Food, and a Plant-Based Diet
This video features Rich Roll. Rich is an author, a podcaster (Rich Roll Podcast on iTunes), as well as founder and first person to complete the EPIC5 Challenge. The EPIC5 challenge involves completing 5 Full Iron Distance triathlons on 5 Hawaiian islands in under a week. Rich has also been a repeated top finisher in the Ultraman World Championships in Hawaii, which is a three-day, 515km (320 mile) annual endurance race held on the Big Island of Hawaii. The race is divided into three stages over three days: The first is a 6.2 mile (10-km) ocean swim, followed by a 90-mile (145-km) cross-country bike ride, with vertical climbs that total 6,000 feet. Stage two is a 171.4-mile (276-km) bike ride, with total vertical climbs of 4,000 feet. Finally, stage three is a 52.4-mile (84-km) double marathon. Each stage must be completed within 12 hours or less.
