2 c FLOUR, SIFTED 1/4 c SUGAR 1 tb BAKING POWDER 1 t SALT 1/4 ts CINNAMON 1/3 c SHORTENING 3/4 c MILK 2/3 c RAISINS, CHOPPED 1/2 c BUTTER, MELTED 1/4 c SUGAR 2 ts CINNAMON Sift togther all dry ingredients. Cut in shortening with pastry cutter or two knives. Mixture should look like small bowls. Stir in milk and raisins. Turn onto lightly floured board. Roll out to 1/2 Cut into rounds with floured doughnut cutter. Arrange doughnuts on cookie sheets. Brush with melted butter. Bake 12 minutes in a 425F oven. Brush again with melted butter. Combine 1/4 c sugar and 2 t cinnamon to make cinnamon sugar. Makes 1 dozen.

In this video I'm going to show you how to make these super soft and fluffy cinnamon raisin buns at home that I've been making myself for a while now.
This cinnamon raisin bun recipe is perfect for lunch or dinner or anytime you are craving a snack. Not only are these raisin cinnamon bread rolls aromatic, but they are extremely soft and will stay soft for days until traditional store bought bread that becomes stall after 1 day.

Ingredients:
Tangzhong: 20g of bread flour 100ml of water
Dough: 335g Bread flour 40g of white Sugar 6g of Salt 1 Tsp of cinnamon powder 35g of room temperature butter 5g of Instant yeast 6g of Milk powder 125ml of Lukewarm milk 1 egg Raisins 100g
egg wash: 1 egg splash of milk
Bake at 350 degrees F for 18-20 minutes (varies between ovens)
Notes:
Highly recommended to use a stand mixer as the dough is very sticky.
Feel free to adjust how much raisins you add to the dough. If you like a lot of raisins then increase the amount you add and vice versa.
