How To make Raisin Bread
2 c Milk, scalded 1 Cake compressed yeast
2 tb Melted shortening 6 c Flour
1/4 c Molasses 3/4 c Raisins
1 1/2 ts Salt
Combine milk, salt, shortening, and molasses. Cool until lukewarm. Add yeast to cooled milk. Allow to stand 5 minutes. Add raisins. Add flour, a little at a time, beating well after each addition, until dough is just stiff enough to knead on a lightly floured board. Knead until smooth and elastic. Cover with a warm, damp cloth, and allow to double in bulk. Knead down, allow to double in bulk again. Form into loaves. Place in well-oiled pans. Cover and let rise until double in bulk. Bake in hot oven (425? F) about 45 minutes. Mrs. I.M., Denver, CO. -----

INGREDIENTs AND METHOD
Lukewarm Milk (3/4 cup or 180 ml)
Sugar (3 tbsp or 38 g)
Instant dried active Yeast (1 tbsp or 7 g)
Mix well
Leave it for 5 minutes
Melted Butter (3 tbsp or 40 g)
Beaten Egg (1 large - Leave 1 tbsp to use later)
Combine well
Plain Flour (2 1/2 cup or 300g add in batches)
Salt (1/2 tsp)
Mix well
Tip the dough over floured surface
Knead the dough (at least for 5 minutes)
Place the dough into a greased bowl
Cover
Leave it to prove until double in size (approx. 1 hour)
Knead the dough for 1-2 minutes
Divide the dough into 8 equal parts
Roll out each dough ball into a rectangle shape
Apply some butter
(for all rolls I have used ~2-3 tbsp or 30-35 g butter)
Sprinkle Raisins
(for all rolls I have used 1/4 cup or 50-60 g raisins)
Sprinkle dried Cranberries
(for all rolls I have used 1/4 cup or 50-60 g dried Cranberries)
Roll the dough
Cut the roll lengthwise from the centre
Leave one end intact
Shape/fold the bread rolls
Place the shaped bread roll in a lined and greased baking dish
Shape the remaining bread rolls in the same way
Cover
Leave them to prove (at least for 1/2 an hour)
Brush with 1 tbsp (leftover) egg
Bake in a preheated oven at 180C/350F/Gas mark 4 for 25-28 minutes
Brush with some butter while hot
Soft and Fluffy Raisin Cranberry Bread Rolls are ready to serve

80g golden raisin (raisins made from green grapes, general raisins are also available)
Water 60g, Instant Dry Yeast 5g
5g salt, 25g sugar, 50g milk
1 egg
250g strong flour
30 g butter
TIP
Water and milk temperature
Spring, Autumn, Winter: Microwave 20 seconds
Summer: Cool
Egg temperature
Spring, autumn, winter: room temperature
Summer: cold
Butter room temperature: 30 minutes or more
When using a stand mixer (depending on the stand mixer specifications)
1. Add all ingredients except butter.
2. Mix 2~3 minutes at low speed.
3. Mix 5-6 minutes at medium speed
4. Add butter.
5. Mix 5-6 minutes at medium speed
6. Add raisins and mix for 2-3 minutes at low speed.

Cinnamon Raisin Bread Recipe
1 cup milk
2 1/4 tsp yeast
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
6 TBSP melted butter
3 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup raisins
for filling
4 tbsp melted butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 TBSP cinnamon
1/2 cup raisins
bake at 350° For 35 to 40 min or until the top of your loaf is a nice golden brown. ????

This homemade raisin bread is a delicious, lightly sweetened yeast bread. It's wonderful sliced right off the loaf, and it makes fabulous toast. Whichever way you like it, homemade raisin bread is a top-notch breakfast choice. It is made with bread flour , sugar , butter , honey and cinnamon .
Raisins bread recipe
bread flour - 300g
White sugar- 30g
Unsalted butter -30g
Powdered milk -10g
Salt -3g
Yeast -5g
Bread improver -3g
Cinnamon powder -2g
Honey -10ml
Water - 150ml
Raisins -150g
No Kneading Raisin Bread- just use spatula to mix
How to make this soft and fluffy Raisin Bread without kneading.
Here's what you'll need:
2 tsp instant yeast (6g)
1 cup milk (250ml)
1 large egg or 1/4 cup yogurt
1/4 cup sugar (50g)
3 tbsp powdered milk (30g)
1/4 cup melted butter (60ml) unsalted
3 cups bread flour or all purpose flour (375g)
1 tsp salt (4g)
1/2 cup raisins (60g)
1. In a large mixing bowl, mix together yeast and milk. Add egg, sugar, powdered milk and melted butter. Mix well.
2. Add flour and salt. Mix well for about 2 minutes.
3. Add raisins and mix for about 2 minutes.
4. Cover for 45 minutes.
5. Mix again to release air. Then drizzle with melted butter and coat dough with oil.
6. Cover for 30 minutes.
7. Transfer proofed dough to a floured counter.
8. Divide into 8 or 16 equal pieces.
9. Roll and smooth into a ball. Cover and bench rest dough for 10 minutes.
10. Then smooth again and place in a pan lined with parchment paper.
11. Cover for 25 minutes.
12. Preheat oven for 15 minutes at 170°C/340°F.
13. Bake for 22-25 minutes or until lightly brown on top.
14. Let it cool down a bit, then brush with melted butter for a softer crust (optional)
15. Serve and enjoy!
