3 ts Baking powder
1/4 ts Salt
1 c Pineapple juice
3 Eggs
1 ts Orange flavoring
1 ts Pineapple flavoring

1/2 c Shortening
1/2 c Margarine
1 Egg yolk
1/2 c Milk
1 ts Orange flavoring
1 ts Pineapple flavoring
-COOKED PINEAPPLE- 1 c Pineapple
1/4 c Sugar
2 tb Cornstarch
Cream shortening, sugar, then add eggs one at a time. Beat until very light and fluffy. Add flour, baking powder, and salt to creamed mixture alternately with juice. Begin with flour and end with flour. Bake at 350~ for 30-35 minutes. Makes 2 9-inch layers. You Won't Believe It Frosting. Beat these ingredients at high speed with electric mixer for exactly 15 minutes. No more or no less. Now add and mix in 2/3 cup of cooked pineapple. Frost cake. Cooked Pineapple. The original instructions say to put frosting in a covered dish in the refrigerator for a month. Then add the cooked mixture. No way around my house. If anyone waits a month to use it, let me know how it turned out. pat. -----

Pineapple Dream Dessert

Ingredients
Crust:
2 1/2 cups graham crumbs 2 sleeves
1/2 cup unsalted butter
Layers:
2 cups powdered sugar sifted
1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
4 oz cream cheese softened
8 oz Cool Whip fat-free
20 oz crushed pineapple drained well
Instructions
Preheat oven to 300 F.
Melt butter in the microwave and allow to cool. Combine the crumbs and butter and toss together until incorporated. Press 2 cups of the crumb mixture firmly into an 9×9 square pan and bake for 8-10 minutes. Place on wire rack to cool.
Beat the cream cheese and butter together until creamy. Turn the mixer down to low and add the powdered sugar one cup at a time until incorporated. Turn up and beat well for a minute or so. Add a heaping tablespoon of the drained pineapple and stir in with a rubber spatula. Spread the cream cheese and pineapple mixture over the crust.
Fold the remaining pineapple into the Cool Whip and spread on top of the cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle the remaining graham cracker crumb mixture on top. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
Notes
NO BAKE VERSION: If it's too hot to turn on the oven, you can make the crust without baking it. Simply follow the instructions in the recipe, then instead of baking the crust, place it in the refrigerator. Let the crust chill for about 20 minutes. The butter will solidify and hold the crust together.

NESTLÉ MILKPAK Cream 100 ml
Flour 150 g
Sugar (Powdered) 150 g
Eggs 5
Baking Powder 1 tsp
Vanilla Essence Few drops
White Butter 250 g
Coconut (Desiccated) 100 g
Icing Sugar 400 g
Sugar Syrup 1 Cup
Red Syrup (Optional) Cup
Pineapple (Chopped) 1 Cup

Calories 201Kcal
Protein 2g
Fats 13g
Carbohydrates 20g
Process
Step 1
In a bowl beat 5 eggs and 150 grams of sugar, then add 150 grams flour, baking powder and few drops of vanilla essence.
Step 2
Spread mixture in a greased and lined round mold.
Step 3
Bake in preheated oven for 35 - 40 minutes.
Step 4
In a bowl beat together 250 grams white butter, NESTLÉ MILKPAK Cream and icing sugar. When creamy mix in coconut.
Step 5
Finely chop 1 cup of pineapple and keep aside.
Step 6
Remove cake from the oven, cut into 2 halves and sprinkle each with sugar syrup.
Step 7
Spread a little red syrup on one piece. Then spread with butter cream icing. Make a layer of chopped fine pineapples on it. Cover with the other half, then coat the cake with butter cream.
Step 8
Garnish with red syrup and sprinkle with desiccated coconut.
Step 9
Refrigerate for 60 -90 minutes and then serve.
