-canned 1 c Sugar
1 qt Vinegar
2 tb Mixed spices
Prize winning recipe Wash fresh string beans. Remove strings. Cover with water to which 1/2 teaspoon salt has been added per quart. Cook until tender. Cover with a pickling sirup made of vinegar, sugar, and spices. Boil 10 minutes. Mrs. D.M. Avery, Thetford Center, VT.

Welcome to the Vegan in the Freezer channel!
Spicy Pickled Green Beans are mildly spiced and a wonderful way to prepare fresh green beans. A great accompaniment at lunch, dinner, and especially parties.
✅ Tips:
1. Wear thin rubber kitchen gloves when cutting the chili pepper
2. For this recipe, you can use Cayenne Peppers, Thai peppers, hot cherry peppers, jalapeño, or any other type of hot chili pepper
3. This recipe is for refrigerator pickled green beans, not a canning recipe so that will help the house keep cooler too.

For this delicious vegan main dish you will need:
✅INGREDIENTS:
- 1 ½ cups white vinegar
- 1 cups water
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- 2 teaspoons maple syrup
- 4 cloves garlic peeled
- 4 red chile peppers
- ½ teaspoon dill seed
00:00 Start
00:07 Wash jars and lids in hot, soapy water
00:18 Snap the tips off of the green beans
00:25 Bring the vinegar and water to a boil
00:43 Drop two garlic cloves and ¼ teaspoon of dill seed into the jars
00:47 Put green beans into the jars
00:53 Add chili peppers
00:58 Pour the hot liquid over the green beans
01:05 Close the jars
01:09 Place in the refrigerator and let pickle for 2 days
01:12 Enjoy this healthy vegan appetizer
