How To make Pepper Steak Stir Fry
1/4 c Picante sauce
1/3 c Water
2 tb Soy sauce
1 tb Cornstarch
1/2 ts Ground ginger
3 tb Vegetable oil
1 lb Beef round steak cut into
1-1/2 x 1/4 inch strips
1 md Red or green pepper, cut
Into short think strips 1 c Sliced fresh mushrooms
6 Green onions, cut in 3/4 in
Pieces 1 Garlic clove, minced
Hot cooked rice
Combine picante sauce, water, soy sauce, cornstarch and ginger in small bowl; set aside. In large skillet or wok over high heat, heat 2 tablespoons of the oil until hot but not smoking. Add meat and stir-fry 1 to 2 minutes; remove with slotted spool set aside. Drain
skillet, if necessary. Heat remaining tablespoon oil in skillet. Add peppers, mushrooms, onions, and garlic to skillet; stir-fry 3 minutes. Return meat to skillet. Stir picante sauce mixture and pour into skillet. Cook and stir about 1 minute or until sauce thickens. Serve over rice with additional picante sauce. Makes 4 servings. Ingredients:
-2 cloves Garlic
- 20 gm Ginger
- 3 Yellow Onion (Holland)
- 15 gm Black Pepper
- 225 gm Sirloin Beef
- Spring Onion
- Bell pepper
Marinate:
1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
1 tsp Soy Sauce
½ tsp Cornstarch
1 tsp Sesame Oil
Sauce:
1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
1tbsp Soy Sauce
2 tsp Black Vinegar
½ tsp Cornstarch

PEPPER STEAK | recipe Chinese style
1 lb sirloin tip steak Thinly sliced
2 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 egg white
1 tbsp mushroom seasoning ( optional)
1/2 tsp white pepper
2 tbsp cornstarch
sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp Hoisin sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch mixed in 1/3 cup water
2 tbsp brown sugar
Chopped bell peppers as much as you like
Chopped onions as much as you like
1 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
1 1/2 tbsp grated ginger
1/2 tsp black pepper

- 2 Ribeye Steaks
- 2 Bell Peppers, Roughly Chopped ( 1 Red & 1 Green)
- 1 Small Onion, Chopped
- 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- Sesame Seeds for Garnish
- Thinly Sliced Green Onions for Garnish
- Vegetable Oil for Frying
MARINADE:
- 1/3 Cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Duck Fat or Vegetable Oil
- 1 Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar
- 1 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1 Tsp Ground Ginger
- 1 Tsp Black Pepper
- 1 to 2 Tbsp Honey
SAUCE:
- 1/2 Cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce or Hoisin Sauce
