How To make Penne From Heaven
FORMATTED BY S.GRABOWSKI:
12 oz Penne or ziti
2 tb Olive oil
1 1/2 c Chopped onion
3 Minced cloves garlic
3 c Chopped plum tomatoes
1/2 c Water
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Sugar
2 c Broccoli florets
2 c Chopped zucchini
1 c Sugar snaps (remove string)
->OR<- Snow peas 1/2 c Jullien carrots
2 tb Chopped parsley
1/2 c Grated Parmesean
Cook the pasta according to directions on the package; drain. While the pasta is cooking, heat the oil over medium-high heat in a 3-quart saucepan. Add the onion and garlic, and cook, stirring, until softened. Add the tomato, water,salt and sugar.Cook, stirring often, for 10 minutes. Add the broccoli, zucchini, sugar snaps, carrot and parsley. Cook, stirring until the vegetables are tender-crisp. Stir in the Parmesean. Serve over the pasta. So how exactly are we taking this pasta to another level? and why do i call this my MAFIA PASTA well the mafia pasta part is just a laugh as i'm a huge mob movie geek.. We're taking this pasta to another level with a few simple steps. The main step to creating this penne recipe with ground beef is to give it time.
Allowing the sauce to gently simmer and slowly blip away is the key to creating big bold flavour. This really is a true pasta lovers recipe. The ingredients are listed below. Ingredients:
500g ground beef (avoid lean beef where possible)
500g dried penne pasta
2 carrots
2 small onions
2 stalks of celery
1 can of tomatoes
1 tbsp of tomato puree
4 cloves of garlic
1/2 glass of white wine
1 pint beef stock
1 tea spoon salt
1 tea spoon pepper
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tbsp granulated garlic
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
fresh basil to garnish
For the garlic bread simple combine 2 chopped garlic gloved with 2 tbsp of butter, season with salt and pepper and spread on flat bread before placing in the oven of a low temperature for 5 minutes.
