1/2 cup margarine* 1/2 cup granulated sugar* 1 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup peanut butter 2 1/2 cups flour 2 teaspoons soda 1/2 teaspoon salt Cream margarine, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Stir in peanut butter. Sift dry in gredients; stir into creamed mixture. Roll into balls (rounded teaspoon). Plac e on non-stick treated cookie sheet. Press with back of floured fork to make c risscross. Bake at 350 degrees about 10 minutes. *1/2 cup margarine and 1/2 cup sugar has been removed from this recipe. T4544 Records busted by sooz

On a parchment lined baking tray and form cookies from the mixture (I made 15 because that is how many servings the recipe says it makes) and bake for 10-12 min. Let cool completely.
I actually liked this recipe better than the last peanut butter cookie I tried because the sweetener crystallizes when it cools so it had some structure. The first low carb peanut butter cookies I made on here were really crumbly. These were a lot easier to eat and had a more pleasant texture. EASY BISQUICK PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES | 1960's RETRO RECIPE | COOK WITH ME!
RECIPE: 1 cup of peanut butter ¼ cup of shortening (I used butter instead) ½ cup sugar ½ cup packed brown sugar 1/3 cup of water 2 cups of Bisquick
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix peanut butter, shortening, sugars and water. Blend in Bisquick. Roll teaspoonfuls of dough into balls. Flatten with a fork. Bake 8-10 or until desired doneness (I baked mine for 13-14 minutes). ________________________________________________________________________
