-Dee Penrod FGGT98B 1 pk Yeast 2 1/2 c Bread flour 1/2 c Wheat flour 1 tb Gluten 1/4 c Brown sugar, packed 1 t Salt 1/4 ts Cinnamon 1/4 ts Nutmeg 1/8 ts Baking soda 1/3 c Chopped dried peaches 1 c Sliced,canned peaches in -Lite syrup (drained) 1/3 c Sour cream 1 t Vanilla 1 tb Margarine 1/3 c Peach juice warmed Use ingredients at room temperature. Add all ingredients into the pan in the order listed. Select sweet bread and push Start. NOTE: Be sure to use peaches canned in light syrup. NOTE: If dough is too dry, add another TBS of peach juice after 5 minutes of kneading.

This peach pudding is a twist to the classic peaches and cream dessert recipe made using canned peaches. Canned peach pudding recipe is a creamy custard which is layered with cake cubes and baked with chopped peaches and sweet cream

This was a great refreshing dessert for tonight's dinner. An angel food cake roll filled with a peach puree and whipped topping. I decorated it by dusting with powdered sugar, swirls of whipped topping and peach slices. It was light and delicious.

Recipe: Serves 6-8
Ingredients: 1 8-oz. loaf French bread, sliced 8 large eggs 2 cups whole milk 1/4 cup sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 15-oz. cans sliced peaches packed in juice, drained 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Directions:
Prep: 20 Minutes Stand: 40 Minutes Chill: 8 Hours Bake: 55 Minutes 1. Butter a 9-by-13-inch baking dish (mine was slightly larger). Arrange bread in a tight, flat layer in dish.
2. In a large bowl, whisk eggs with milk, sugar and vanilla until blended; pour over bread. Arrange peaches on top and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 8 hours.
3. Remove baking dish from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Preheat oven to 350°F. Pour cream into a small pan; bring to a boil over high heat. Cook until reduced by half, about 10 minutes. Drizzle over peaches and bake, uncovered, until casserole is lightly browned on top and just cooked through, 45 to 55 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
