How To make Pasta with Szechuan Spiced Shrimp
1/4 lb Spinach leaves
1/4 c Chinese chili paste
2 Tomatoes
1 lb Dry or fresh penne
16 lg Shrimp
: (or fettucine 2 TB Olive oil
: or other pasta
cooked 2 Garlic cloves
1/2 c Butter :
cut into 10
: pieces Rinse spinach and remove stems. Peel and seed tomatoes. Chop roughly. Clean and devein shrimp. Set aside. Heat olive oil in skillet. Add garlic. Saute a few seconds. Add shrimp and chili paste. Cook until shrimp turn pink. Set aside. Arrange hot cooked pasta on serving platter or individual plates. Arrange shrimp over pasta. Saute spinach and tomatoes in half of butter until tender. Stir in remaining butter, bit by bit, until all butter in pan is melted. Pour equal amounts of spinach-tomato-butter mixture over pasta. Ingredientes
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp chili oil with chili flakes Lao Gan Ma (If you have regular chili oil, add 1 1/2 tbsp chili flakes)
1/4 tsp black pepper
3 tbsp unsalted butter
10 cloves garlic, chopped
2 lb peeled and deveined 31/40 shrimp
1 tbsp shaoxing wine, rice wine or white wine (if you don’t want to consume alcohol in your cooking, use water)
3 green onion, chopped
1 red or green chili, sliced (optional)
handful cilantro, roughly chopped
fried shallot or french onion for garnish
lemon or lime wedges

1/2 lb ground pork, beef, chicken or crumbled tofu
1 tbsp chopped garlic (approximately 3 cloves garlic)
1 tsp chopped ginger
1 tbsp soy sauce
1tbsp shaoxing wine, dry sherry or rice wine
pinch of black pepper
1 tbsp cooking oil
2 oz Chinese preserved mustard green, chopped (You can omit this or substitute with any pickled mustard green or kimchi - after washing)
For the Sauce
1 tsp chopped garlic (approximately 2 cloves garlic)
2 tbsp tahini (preferred made with toasted sesame seeds) or peanut butter
1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp dark soy sauce
3 tbsp chili oil with chili flakes
1 to 3 tsp toasted and grinned Sichuan peppercorns *
1/2 tbsp sugar
For Assemble
2 portions fresh egg noodles or spaghetti
handful of yu choy, bok choy, napa cabbage or any green leafy vegetables
3 Tbsp sauce (approximately half of the sauce)
1/4 cup hot chicken or veggie broth
green onion chopped
crushed peanuts or sesame seeds for garnish
