Jambalaya Pasta | Delish
Pasta night with some Louisiana flavor!
DIRECTIONS
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and bell peppers and sauté until beginning to soften. Add the sausages and cook until browned all over. Stir in the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add the chicken and Cajun seasoning. Season everything with salt and pepper to taste. Cook, stirring often, until the chicken is cooked through.
2. Add the penne and stir until coated in the sausage and peppers, then pour over the diced tomatoes and chicken broth. Simmer until the pasta is al dente and almost all of the liquid is absorbed, about 20 minutes.
3. Stir in the heavy cream and cheddar. Garnish with parsley and serve.

1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil

2 bell peppers, chopped
2 andouille sausages, cut crosswise into 1 thick pieces
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp. Cajun seasoning
2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, chopped into 1 pieces
kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
10 oz. penne
4 c. chicken broth
1 (15-oz.) can diced tomatoes
1 c. shredded Cheddar
1/2 c. heavy cream
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Chicken, sausage, and Shrimps Pasta Jambalaya
hello friends, we are making the most delicious jambalaya pasta today!
What You’ll Need
4 tbsps. olive oil
1 pound chicken breast (cut into pieces)
½ pound shrimp deveined
½ pound andouille sausage sliced into half-inch thick pieces
2 tbsps. Cajun spice blend
½ cup red bell peppers diced
½ cup green bell peppers diced
¾ cup diced onion
3 cloves of garlic minced
1 tsp thyme
1 bay leaf
8 ounces tomato sauce
½ tsp red pepper flakes (or ¼ tsp Cayenne powder)
1 medium tomato diced
1 cup chicken broth
1 pound fettuccine pasta cooked al dente (don’t rinse!)
Salt and pepper to taste

Recreating Recipes Ep.9: Cheesecake Factory's Jambalaya Pasta- Cajun Shrimp & Chicken | Honest Cooks
This week we're going to the Cheesecake Factory and we're making Jambalaya Shrimp & Chicken Pasta. Although the restaurant is known for their cheesecakes, this spicy pasta dish is one of their best-sellers! And, it's obvious why - it is spicy but not overpowering & it is saucy but not soupy! And, it has the perfect combination of pasta to shrimp to chicken.
What's the hold up? Let's get cooking!
Before you start,, make this Cajun spice blend:
Garlic Powder 2.5 tsp
Smoked Paprika 2 tsp
Crushed Black Pepper 1.5 tsp
Onion Powder 2 tsp
Cayenne 2 tsp
Dried Oregano 1 tsp
Dried Thyme 1 tsp
Red Pepper Flakes 1.5 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Combine the spices in a bowl and store leftovers in a dry container.
Ingredients for 4 regular sized portions:
1. Olive oil - 4 oz
2. Chicken Breast, 1 inch slices - 6-8oz

4. Cajun Spice blend we just made: 2.5 Tbs & more for garnish
5. Bell Peppers, assorted colors: 8 oz
6. Red Onions: 4 oz
7. Canned & diced tomatoes: 4 oz
8. Tomato Paste: 2 tbsp
9. Chicken plus seafood stock : 5 oz each, total 10oz
10. Garlic, minced: 1 tbsp
11. Pasta, linguine: 12 oz
12. Flat leaf parsley, for garnish: about a 3 tsp
13. Salt: to taste

INGREDIENTS
1lb andouille sausage
1lb chicken thighs
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 medium yellow onion
1 tsp Cajun blackening seasoning
1 1/2 tsp Garlic and herb seasoning
1/2 tsp Cayenne
2 sprite thyme
2 bay leaves
Salt and pepper to taste
1 box penne pasta
1 tsp avocado oil
1 Tbsp tomato paste
1 15 oz can diced tomatoes
2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
Parsley or green onion for garnish

Ingredient List:
1 box Penne pasta
1/2-1 lb Shrimp
1 link, smoked cajun sausage, sliced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 orange bell pepper diced
1 yellow onion, diced
4 garlic cloves, minced
½ cup fresh crushed tomatoes
2 1/2 teaspoons creole seasoning
3 teaspoons garlic powder
3 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 packet, sazon seasoning(color)
1 tablespoon parsley, fresh
2 cups heavy cream (forgot to show it in the video)
1 cup mixed cheese (use the cheese that you perfer)
Salt and pepper to taste
*I covered and broiled the cheese on top of the pasta towards the end.
