How To make Oven Steamed Flounder Cantonese Style
4 Scallions trimmed
cut into
2 Ginger :
julienned
4 4 oz flounder, red snapper,
2 tb Light or reduced soy sauce
1 t Sesame oil
1/2 ts Sugar
Dash of hot chili oil :
or- Dash of red pepper flakes Cilantro -- for garnish
Recipe by: Michael Kinneer <MKinneer@AOL.COM> In a baking dish put 1/3 of the ginger and the scallion on the bottom. Put the fish fillets atop. Place the remaining scallion and ginger atop the fish. Combine the remaining ingredients (not the cilantro) and pour over t fish. Let stand for 15 minutes. Cover with foil and bake at 375 degrees for approximately 15 minutes or until fish flakes when pressed gently. Garnish with cilantro. Hope you enjoy. Great with rice pilaf

Cantonese Steamed Flounder
For healthy chinese home cooking. Here is one cooking by steaming. We have fresh flounder type flat fish. Loaded with tasty ingredients. So flaky in every scoop of those delicious fish cooking. Below, are the list of Ingredients: Thru the courtesy of Mr. Michael Taylor, who re type those list. So we can COPY-PASTE_PRINT the same.
List of Ingredients: *created by HAPPY WOK ****
1.2 pounds --- flounder (cleaned)
** marinade **
1 Tbsp -- rice wine
1 tsp ----- salt
** pre mix sauce **
1/3 cup -- chicken broth
2 Tbsp --- light soy sauce
1 Tbsp --- sesame oil
1 dash ---- white pepper
*we also need *
4 Tbsp ---- cooking oil (for drizzle the steamed fish)
4 stalks --- green onions (chopped / julienne)
3 pcs ------ fresh red chili pepper (for garnishing)
