How To make Oven Barbecued Caribou Ribs
2 lb Caribou ribs
1 tb Vegetable oil
Salt & Pepper 2 tb Brown sugar
16 oz Tomato sauce
2 tb Vinegar
2 ts Prepared mustard
1 ts Louisiana Hot Sauce
Place ribs in a large oven proof dish. Brush lightly with cooking oil; sprinkle with salt & pepper. Bake at 325-350 degrees until fairly well done, turning once. Combine the remaining ingredients with the tomato sauce; pour over ribs. Bake until done, basting occasionally with sauce.

Braised Wild Alaskan Caribou Roast | Smoked!
In this video, we cook one of Alaska's most delicious meats, Caribou. We were fortunate enough to get these two roasts from some friends, and we couldn't wait to get them cooked up.
With the roasts, we decided to do a quick sear and braise them in a dutch oven over the smoker. Total cook time was about 1 hour on the smoker. This recipe does not require a smoker; the braising could be done in any conventional oven at 300 degrees. Strive for an internal temp of at least 145 degrees. Thanks for stopping by!

1 TBSP: Black Peppercorns
3 to 4: Rosemary Stems
