How To make Oatmeal Applesauce Bread
INGREDIENTS:
3 3/8 c Flour, bread
1 1/2 tb Sugar
1 1/2 tb Dry milk powder
1 1/2 ts Salt
1 1/2 tb Canola Oil
1/3 c Oatmeal (or, 1 pkt of Quaker
Date, Raisin, Walnut Oatmeal Instant Cereal - preferred) 1/3 c Applesauce
1 ts Cinnamon
7 1/2 oz Water
1 ts Dry yeast
Directions; Place all ingredients except yeast in baking pan in order listed. Place yeast in receptacle. Bake on Rapid. (Panasonic 65) For other machines, place ingredients in order required by the machine you use. NOTE: This recipe is adapted from a Panasonic recipe. The use of the Quaker Instant Raisin, Date and Walnut cereal was a happy coincidence. I was out of oatmeal of all sorts, except that variety. It might be interesting to try Peaches and Cream, or Strawberries and Cream or some of the others for a different taste. This is a slightly sweet bread, but goes good with everything. I am using gluten free oatmeal for my bread recipes. I love to make easy gluten free bread recipes because they are easy, healthy and oatmeal is better than white flour.
Ingredients:
280 gr oats (3 cups)
2 eggs
250 gr yoghurt (1 cup)
2 tsp banking powder
pinch of salt
1 tbsp sesame seeds
handful walnuts
pinch of black pepper (optional)
bake for 30-35 minutes at 180˚C (365˚F)
