1:20 How to make keto-friendly candied pecans
In this video, I’m going to share with you my delicious candied pecans recipe. My favorite nut is the pecan, and these sugar-free candied pecans are just amazing. If you’re looking for healthy snacks, you can add this to the list. I would put these on a salad or even keto-friendly ice cream. These are incredible. They are really sweet but yet they are low-carb, and there is no sugar in them. Pecans are also loaded with vitamin B6.
Keto Candied Pecans Recipe:
Ingredients
• 1 egg white
• 1 pound pecan halves
• ½ cup sugar substitute (we use Just Like Sugar)
• 3 tsp ground cinnamon
• ½ tsp sea salt
Directions
1. In a large bowl, beat the egg white until frothy but not stiff. Add the pecans into the bowl and mix well so all the nuts are covered with egg whites.
2. In a small bowl, combine the cinnamon, salt, and sugar. Sprinkle the sugar mixture onto the nuts and mix bit by bit until all the mixture has been added. Mix well to coat thoroughly.
3. Pour candied nuts onto a parchment or silicone mat-lined baking pan and spread them out as evenly as you can.
4. Bake at 325°F for 20 minutes, stirring about halfway through. It is vital not to overcook. Let it cool. Break nuts apart a bit with hands. Store in a ziplock bag or airtight container.

Oatmeal Cookies with Praline Bits and Pecans
This is my favorite oatmeal cookie recipe. You can add different add-on ingredients and get a lot of variety. Butterscotch chips, chocolate chips, and different nuts are just some of the changes you can make. I found it helpful when I had some leftover pralines that got hard too quickly in the pan. You should try different add-ins and see what you get.
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1 cup of unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup praline bits
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 - 375 degrees F. Prepare a baking pan with a silicone sheet, parchment paper, or oil.
Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
Cream butter and both sugars in a large bowl. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Slowly mix in the flour mixture about 1/3 at a time. Fold in the oatmeal, praline bits, and pecans.
Drop rounded teaspoons onto the baking tray, leaving room between cookies for spread.
Bake in batches in the preheated oven for 10 - 12 minutes. Allow cookies to cool for 5-10 minutes before removing them to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in a sealed container.
Pecan Pralines - with yoyomax12
I have never tasted pecan pralines before making these and to me they taste like fudge with a lot of pecans in them. I always thought they were more like a pecan brittle texture :)
Candy making playlist:
Reese's peanut butter cup fudge:
RECIPE:
1 cup (211g) white granulated sugar
1 cup (225g) packed brown sugar
1 cup milk (240ml)
8 large marshmallows
2 cups (230g) coarsely chopped pecans
2 tbsp (34g) butter
1/2 tsp (2.5ml) vanilla extract
dash ground cinnamon
Lightly grease a couple of cookie sheets or cover with parchment or a silicon mat.
In a medium saucepan over medium/low heat combine the sugars, milk and marshmallows. Cook and stir until marshmallows are melted. Raise heat to medium and continue to cook, stirring occasionally until the temperature reaches 234F to 235 F (112 to 115C) (soft ball stage).
Without stirring or scraping transfer the mixture into a heat proof container. You don't want to scrape the pot because the sugar crystals on the pot sides may get into the mixture and cause it to crystallize too quickly.
Add the butter, vanilla extract and cinnamon.
Stir rapidly until the mixture thickens up and gets creamy. This may take 3-4 minutes. Once it starts to thicken, quickly start dropping the mixture by tablespoonfuls onto your prepared cookie sheets. Allow them to hardens and store them in sealed containers. Makes about 2 dozen depending on size. I would stick to making very small ones as they are super super sweet.
