No Guilt Brownies? Yes Please! | The Frugal Chef
This easy keto brownie recipe is spot on. The brownies are very fudgy and super flavorful. They are also sugar free and gluten free. You will never know that they are not the real deal.
We are going to make these with unsweetened cocoa powder and unsweetened dark chocolate and add some espresso powder to the batter as well. This will make them rich in chocolate flavor. These are also made with almond flour and Monk fruit sweetener (you can use whatever sweetener you prefer).
The biggest recommendation I have for this recipe is that you be patient once you remove the brownies from the oven. Allow them to cool completely before you cut them. This will ensure that they are not cakey. I know it is hard to resist when your kitchen is smelling so incredibly good but do yourself a favor and wait. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy this recipe guys!

How to Make Easy Keto Brownies Recipe -
Makes 16 brownies
10 tablespoons (142 grams) unsalted butter
2 oz. (40 grams) unsweetened dark chocolate
1 teaspoon (4 grams) vanilla extract
3 eggs at room temperature
1/2 cup (48 grams) almond flour
1/4 cup (25 grams) unsweetened, dark cocoa powder
3/4 cup sweetener (150 grams) - I use Monkfruit from Lakanto
1 tablespoon (6 grams) instant espresso powder
1/2 teaspoon (2 grams) baking powder
1/4 teaspoon (1.5 grams) salt
Heat your oven to 350F (175 C).
Line an 8x8 pan with two pieces of parchment paper, overlapping on the sides. Spray with some spray oil or oil lightly.
Melt the butter and dark chocolate in a bowl in the microwave or in a double boiler. If using the microwave, do it in 30 second increments and mix. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted and let it cool down.
Add the vanilla and the eggs into the melted chocolate and mix well.
Place the almond flour, cocoa powder, sweetener, espresso, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Mix well.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix until incorporated. Do not over beat.
Pour the batter into the pan and spread out evenly with a spatula. Place in the oven and bake for 18 to 20 minutes. Check at 18 minutes and if a toothpick comes out clean. If it is not ready bake for another 2 minutes.
Remove the pan from the oven and place on a cooling rack. Allow the brownies to cool completely and cut into 16 equal size squares. Enjoy!
Store the brownies in a closed container int he fridge.

Try this healthy version of your favourite dessert- Brownies, made with oats! Isn't it great when you can eat desserts guilt free?!
BROWNIE
Ingredients
¼ cup melted dark chocolate
1 cup refined flour + for dusting
Butter for greasing
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ cup yogurt
1 cup date puree
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
¾ cup olive oil
2-3 tablespoons castor sugar
1 cup oats powder
¼ cup chopped walnuts + for topping
2-3 tablespoons milk
Method
1. Preheat oven to 180º C. Grease a square baking tin with some butter and dust with some flour.
2. Sieve in together flour, cocoa powder and baking powder in a bowl.
3. Combine yogurt and date puree in another bowl and mix. Add melted chocolate and vanilla essence and mix well.
4. Add olive oil and whisk using an electric beater. Add castor sugar and whisk well.
5. Add flour mixture to yogurt mixture along with oats powder and walnuts and fold. Add milk and mix well.
6. Transfer the batter into the greased tin and level it out. Top with some walnuts.
7. Put the tin into the preheated oven and bake for 30-40 minutes. Remove from oven, cool and demould.
8. Cut into squares and serve.

No bake Brownies
Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour(sifted)
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup sugar
2 1/4 cups evaporated milk
1/2 cup butter/margarine(softened)
1/4 tsp instant coffee
pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup roasted peanuts, crushed(optional)
Procudure:
1) In a saucepan combine 1 cup evaporated milk, sugar and butter
2) Cook over med-low heat. Stir until sugar and butter melts
3) Add flour and continue mixing. Cook for 2-3 minutes over low heat
4) Add cocoa powder, remaining evaporated milk, instant coffee, salt and vanilla extract
5) Mix constantly until thick enough to hold shape
6) Turn the heat off and mix in peanuts
7) Transfer into a container with parchment paper
8) Use a spatula to spread it evenly
9) Add peanuts for toppings and chill overnight
Optional Steps:
*add ganache
Ganache ingredients:
1 cup bitter sweet chocolate, chopped
1/4 cup all purpose cream
addtional toppings:
roasted peanuts(crushed)
chocolate chips
Procedure:
1) In a pan heat all purpose cream over med-low heat
2) Add chopped chocolates. Stir constantly until chocolate melts over low heat
3) Set aside and let it cool
4) Pour ganache and spread it evenly
5) Top with peanuts and chocolate chips
6) Cover and chill overnight
7) Slice brownies into squares/bars
Tips:
*for firmer brownies freeze for 10-15 minutes
*add more sugar if needed
*for less fudgy brownies reduce evaporated milk

• 1/2 cup salted butter softened

1️⃣ 00:00:15 - Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a metal 9x9 pan with parchment paper.
2️⃣ 00:00:31 - Make the cookie layer. In a large mixing bowl use a hand mixer to cream together softened butter with brown sugar and white sugar. Add in egg and vanilla extract and mix until combined. Add in baking soda, salt, and flour and mix until just combined. Use a rubber spatula or spoon to stir in chocolate chips.
3️⃣ 00:01:21 - Press cookie dough into the bottom of the prepared pan. Arrange 16 Oreo cookies on top.
4️⃣ 00:01:55 - Make the brownie layer. Pour melted butter into a large mixing bowl. Whisk in sugar by hand until smooth, 30 seconds. Add in eggs and vanilla extract. Whisk 1 minute. Whisk in melted chocolate until combined and smooth. Use a rubber spatula to stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
5️⃣ 00:03:09 - Gently pour on top of the Oreo layer in the prepared pan. Crush remaining Oreo cookies and sprinkle on top and spread remaining 1/2 cup of chocolate chips on top as well.
6️⃣ 00:03:28 - Bake in the preheated oven for 50-55 minutes. Cool completely before removing from the pan and slicing.
