How to Make Vegan Tuna | Vegan Tuna Recipe
If you are bored of the usual salads, try this NO TUNA VEGAN BOWL oh so refreshing !
First, boil some chickpeas that we will be adding to the bowl. Save the water (aquafaba) to make the dressing.
Dressing:
Blend the following ingredients to form a thick paste.
2 handful sunflower seeds (soaked for 2 hours), 1 tbsp organic soy sauce, lemon juice from 1 lemon, salt to taste, red chilli powder to taste, 3-4 garlic cloves, 1 tsp roasted sesame seeds, aquafaba as required to form a smooth paste. Be careful, not to make this runny.
VEGAN TUNA: mash boiled chickpeas along with the dressing
Salad: feel free to add any vegetables of your choice. I am using lettuce, bell peppers, cucumbers.
In the Bowl: Salad, boiled millet rice, avocado chunks and vegan tuna.
Garnish: lemon juice, salt, red chilli powder, black pepper
