How To make Noodles Czarina Casserole
1/2 c Chopped onion
1 t Olive oil
1 T Corn starch
1 t Salt (optional)
ds White pepper 2/3 c Nonfat dry milk powder
1 c Water
1 t Dijon mustard or any other
Prepared mustard to suit Your taste 1 c Non-fat cottage cheese
2 oz Reduced fat Cheddar cheese,
Shredded (1/2 cup) 2 T Lemon juice
8 oz Noodles, cooked
Dissolve milk powder, salt, mustard, pepper and corn starch in water, set aside. Saute onion in olive oil until tender. Stir in milk mixture, and bring slowly to a boil stirring constantly. Stir in cheeses and lemon juice, mix in cooked noodles. Put mixture into a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake 40-45 minutes in a 350 degree oven until hot and bubbly. -----

BBQ Saheena is made by using fried 'roll-up' saheena, and then tossed in a well seasoned barbeque sauce. It's a sweet, and savory dish to add to your Divali table this year! Thank you, Meera for sharing your idea for this unique, and delicious recipe with me.

Ingredients:
For the Saheena Roll:
15-20 Dasheen Bush Leaves, washed and dried
1 cup of Flour
1 cup of Split Pea/ Dhal Powder
1 teaspoon of Salt
1 teaspoon of Baking Powder
2 tablespoons of chopped Bandhania/Shadon Beni/Culantro/Recao
10 cloves of Garlic, minced
1 Hot Pepper, minced
1/2 teaspoon of Turmeric Powder
1 teaspoon of Roasted Ground Geera
1 cup of Water (will vary on the humidity of where you live)
Paste for frying:
1/4 cup of Flour
1/2 cup of Dhal/Split Peas Powder
2 tablespoons of chopped Bandhania/Shadon Beni/Culantro/Recao
4-6 cloves of Garlic, minced
1 Hot Pepper, minced
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon of Salt
1/2 cup of Water (dependent on the humidity of where you live)
Oil to fry.
For the BBQ Sauce:
6-8 cloves of Garlic, minced
1 Hot Pepper
1/4 cup of chopped Bandhania/Shadon Beni/Culantro/Recao
1 cup of your favorite BBQ Sauce
1 cup of Ketchup
Salt (to your preference)
4-6 Bay Leaves
2 cups of Hot Water.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar (sub Muscovado for more flavor!)
1/4 + 2 tbsp Bukofoods Organic Coconut Spread (sub Vegan Butter or Vegetable/Coconut Oil!)
1/4 cup soy milk
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup quick oats
1 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup vegan chocolate chips
Cream the sugar and organic coconut spread. Once smooth, add salt, vanilla and baking soda. Add your soy milk. Add your flour and oats. Fold in your chocolate chips. Scoop a tablespoon or two. Bake at 175 degrees Celsius for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
