An easy no-bake recipe that makes a nice dessert or snack.
Blueberry oat squares mentioned in video:

In a microwave-safe bowl, heat butter on high for 30-45 seconds or until softened. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda and salt (omit if using salted butter). Stir flour mixture into butter until blended. Set a third of the mixture aside for topping and press the remaining mixture into a 8inch square baking dish (microwave safe). Cook uncovered until crust is raised and set (crust may be uneven) About 2 minutes. Rotate a half turn after each minute if your microwave does not have a turntable. In another bowl heat the caramels and milk on high for 3-4 minutes or until melted and smooth, stirring every minute. Sprinkle chips and half the nuts (if desired) over crust. Pour caramel over all and top with reserved topping mixture. Microwave on high for 3-4 minutes until the caramel is bubbly rotating a quarter turn every minute if your microwave has no turn table. INGREDIENTS
- 3 tablespoons butter - 2 tablespoons cocoa powder - 1/2 cup milk - 2 cups sugar - 2 ounces chopped semi-sweet chocolate - 1 teaspoon vanilla - 1/2 cup peanut butter - 3 1/2 cups old fashioned oats (do not use instant!)
INSTRUCTIONS
In a 3-quart kettle, stir together butter, cocoa powder, milk, and sugar.
Place over medium-high heat and stir until the butter melts and the mixture is smooth. Continue to cook until it begins to boil, stirring constantly.
Lightly boil for one minute (no longer or it will become hard to work with).
After one minute, remove from heat and add vanilla, chopped chocolate, and peanut butter. Stir until the chocolate and peanut butter melt then add oats and stir to completely combine. If the mixture seems too soft to form cookies, let stand for a few minutes and the oats will soak up the extra moisture.
Using a cookie scoop (or your hands), form cookies and place on parchment-lined cookie sheets.
Cool in the refrigerator or at room temperature until the cookies are firm.
