How To make Navajo Green Chili
3 pounds pork shoulder
trimmed of fat
2 cups stewed tomatos
3 tablespoons bacon grease
1 6 oz. can tomato paste
1/3 cup flour
3 cups water
3 medium onions :
chopped
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
4 cloves garlic -- minced
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
2 16 oz cans whole green chiles
Melt bacon grease in a skillet over med-high heat. Put flour into a paper bag a nd shake the meat with the flour to coat meat. Add the meat to the bacon grease a little at a time and brown well & evenly. Remove the meat to a 5 qt. Dutch o ven. Add the onions & garlic to the skillet and saute until transluscent. Add t hese to the pork in the pot. Stir in the remaining ingredients, bring pot to a boil, and keep stirring every 2-3 minutes. When boiling lower heat to low & sim mer for 45 minutes. Taste, adjust seasonings as per personal taste, & cook for 30 mins. more.

Hormel Chili Navajo Tostadas | Price Chopper How-To
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon canola oil
4 raw frozen dinner rolls, thawed in the refrigerator
2 cups canola oil
1 can (15 ounces) Hormel Chili with beans
Directions:
1. Add 1 tablespoon canola oil to a bowl.
2. Add 4 raw frozen dinner rolls, thawed in the refrigerator. Cover bowl and let stand for 30 minutes.
3. Heat 2 cups (1 T. reserved canola oil over medium heat for 20 minutes or until temperature reaches 350F
4. Add 1 can (15 ounces) Hormel Chili with Beans into a pan. Heat over medium heat for 5 minutes or until heated through.
5. Beat and roll frozen dinner roll, dust with flour if necessary to prevent sticking.
6. In pan with 2 cups of heated canola oil, fry for 2 minutes or until golden brown.
7. Evenly top the fried dinner rolls with Hormel Chili with Beans, 2 cups romaine lettuce, 1 cup cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup of salsa, 1/2 cup of sour cream, & 1/2 cup of tomatoes.

The Best Homemade Chili Recipe???? | Easy Delicious Comfort Food
Hope ya'll enjoy! The ingredients list is kinda long, but once you get all of your ingredients together everything else is a piece of cake! From time to time I like to experiment with different flavors to see what I can come up with. This is one of my many ways to make chili. It's so GOOD! Feel free to take out any ingredient that you don't like, this recipe is very forgiving.This chili taste BEST when served immediately after cooking.
*THIS IS A SLOW COOKER RECIPE*
Chili Recipe
Here's what I used in the video:
Power Quick Pot ( I'm using a 10 Qt)
1 Green bell pepper
3 Celery stalks
1 Yellow onion
5 Garlic cloves
2 lbs. of Ground beef (I used 80/20 lean)
2 Tsp Oregano
2 Tsp Brown sugar
2 Tsp Coriander
4 Tbsp Chili powder
3 Tbsp Ground Cumin
2 Tsp Dried Thyme
1 Tsp Smoked paprika
1/2 Tsp Dried Basil leaves
1/2 Tsp Black pepper
1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper (to taste, gradually add more as needed)
Salt to taste ( I used 1 1/2 tsp)
1 Bay Leaf
4 Tbsp Green onions
2 16 oz Cans Kidney beans (rinsed and drained)
1/2 cup canned Black beans
1- 28 oz Can Hunts Diced tomatoes (with juices)
1- 29 oz Can Hunts Tomato sauce
1- 14.5 oz Can Swanson Chicken broth (low sodium)
2 Tsp Worcestershire sauce
*TIP - Taste as you go!!
