How To make Nana's Sugar Cookies
3/4 c Soft margarine
1 1/2 c Powdered sugar
2 Egg whites
1 ts Vanilla extract
2 1/2 c All-purpose flour; or
-unbleached 1 ts Baking powder
1 ts Cream of tartar
Recipe by: Healthy Cooking for Two In a large bowl, cream margarine and sugar; add the egg white and vanilla extract. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and cream of tartar; gradually add to margarine mixture. Cover the bowl and chill for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 400 degrees; lightly coat cookie sheets with cooking spray. Roll the dough on a lightly floured surface; cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters. Decorate with colored sugar, if desired. Bake for 7 to 8 minutes, or until slightly golden. You may decorate with frosting after cookies are cooled. Penny Halsey (ATBN65B). Kanom Dok Bua (ເຂົ້າໜົມດອກບົວ). This recipe makes about 100 cookies. Scale down if you don't need that many.
INGREDIENTS
8 cups All-purpose Flour
6 Eggs
1/2 tsp Salt
2 tbsp Black Sesame Seeds
2-1/2 cups Coconut Milk
2-1/2 cups Sugar
5 cups Milk or Water
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl.

Sri Lankan style Gnanakatha recipe. || Nana katha
Easy and tasty quick teatime cookies
Ingredients
50gms butter
125gms sugar
1 egg
1tsp vanila
250gms flour
1 1/2tsp baking powder
1-2 tbs milk
For coating
Water
Sugar
Egg,butter should be at
room temperature.
For beating can use whisk/hand beater

0:18 Beat butter well
0:36 Add sugar and beat it well
Scrape the sides
0:56 Add egg
1:00Beat it well
1:41 Add vanila
Beat it well.
Scrape the sides .
2:06 Mix flour,baking powder until well combined.
2:19 Sift flour mix to the butter mixture
Mix it well.
2:44 Do not knead the dough.use fingers for mixing
3:08 Add milk little at a time.
(Do not add whole milk at once.)
3:36 Make a soft cookie dough.
3:40 Make same size small dough balls
4:08 Dip one side of the cookies in water and coat with sugar
4:14 Arrange in parchment paper fitted tray.
4:18 Lay gaps in between .
4:21 Bake it in a preheated 150°C/325°F oven for 15-20 minutes.
Do not over bake.
4:32 After baking remove it from oven and let it rest in the tray for 15 minutes.
Store Leftover cookies
in airtight containers.

Toll House Choclolate Chip Cookies || Nana's Cookery
INGREDIENTS AND INSTRUCTIONS 375 DEG.
2 1/4 CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1 TSP. BAKING SODA
1 TSP. SALT
2 STICKS (8 OZ.) BUTTER
3/4 CUP SUGAR
3/4 CUP PACKED BROWN SUGAR
1 TSP. VANILLA
2 EGGS
1 BAG MILK CHOC.CHIPS OR DARK CHOC CHIPS (10-12 0Z.)
1 CUP CHOPPED WALNUTS
COMBINE FLOUR ,BAKING SODA AND SALT IN SMALL BOWL.
CREAM BUTTER,SUGARS AND VANILLA.
ADD EGGS ONE AT A TIME.
GRADUALLY BEAT IN FLOUR MIXTURE.
STIR IN CHOC. CHIPS AND NUTS.
DROP BY ROUNDED TABLESPOON ONTO UNGREASED OR PARCHMENT LINED PAN. LEAVE ROOM FOR COOKIES TO SPREAD.
BAKE AT 375 FOR 9-11 MINUTES TILL GOLDEN BROWN.MAKES ABOUT 4 1/2 DOZ. COOKIES
