Mustard Baked Pork Chops & Lipton onion Roasted Potatoes ! #sundaydinner 2 Easy Economical Recipes
Hi Neighbors, Thank you for stopping by I appreciate you all very much!! Today I thought I would do two very quick recipes that are big on flavor and short on time to make them. The potatoes oh my goodness I don't know why I haven't made these more. I use to make back in the 90s actually a bit and early 2000s I forgot how good they were. Oh and the pork chops !!! I thought lets do something using mustard to hold the bread crumbs to save on flour and egg and I am so happy with them. Below is the recipe. Oh and I am getting a new tripod for my camera to set up in dinning room so we can all sit together and hang out and chat. I love having guest over and I hope you will enjoy this when I get it up an going properly. Ok now on to the recipes.
For the Potatoes
1 pouch Lipton Onion soup Mix
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup of melted butter or margarine
1 tsp basil
1 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp of pepper
4-6 medium potatoes
Wash potatoes and cut into quarters ( I peeled mine too). In a shallow baking pan, blend soup mix with oil, margarine or melted butter and the spices. Add potatoes and stir to coat thoroughly. Bake at 400 degree farinhight or 200 degree Celsius for 40-45 minutes or until potatoes are soft and crisp a bit. toss or stir occasionally during cook. The cook time will actually depend on size you cut your potatoes mine were not very big .
Dijon and regular mustard porkchops lol I don't know what to call them
This is easily adjusted to your family because basically you are just putting mustard of choice on your pork chops . Boneless and I pounded mine out a little thin to make them seem bigger .
Here are the amounts that I used
8-9 boneless porkchops
3/4 cup of season bread crumbs
1 table spoon give or take of dried parsley flakes
2 tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp of dried oregano
1 tsp of dried basil
1/4 tsp of pepper
4 tablespoons of mustard ( I used two of the Dijon and 2 of the regular)
Salt and pepper to taste for the chops and oil for your pan
I mixed the bread crumbs with the seasonings
Massage the pork chops with the mustard
dip pork chops in bread mixture and coat them
lay pork chops in lightly oiled baking pan or casserole dish
bake at 400 degree farinhight flipping little over half way of cook time or when the bottom of them are brown and ready to flip.
These took a bit to crisp but kept tender because of the mustard. Check on them because depending on size and basically the quality of chops this could take you between 20-40 minutes to cook. 145 degree farinhight for internal temp on the pork chops.

Hey guys! Watch me as I make Mustard Fried Pork Chops! These came out crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Perfect for any day of the week. I served these with mashed potatoes and cabbage. I hope you enjoy this recipe!
Ingredients:
6 pork chops
1/4 cup of yellow mustard
All-purpose flour
Adobo Seasoning
Black pepper
Onion powder
Paprika
Vegetable oil
In the video, I used Andy’s Fish Breading because I didn’t have enough flour ????????♀️. You can certainly use only flour…that was my intent when I decided to fry the pork chops. Make sure you check your kitchen for all of the ingredients before you begin cooking! The pork chops still tasted really delicious with the fish breading ????. If you decide to use the breading, go easy with your seasonings because the breading is already seasoned.
