How To make Mushroom Pate 3
1 lb Fresh mushrooms
1/4 c Butter or margarine
1/3 c Minced onion
1/3 c Finely chopped celery
2 Eggs
3 oz Cream cheese, softened
3/4 c Fine dry bread crumbs
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Basil leaves, crushed
1/4 ts Rosemary leaves, crushed
1/4 ts Oregano leaves
1/8 ts Ground black pepper
Preheat oven to 400. Rinse, pat dry and finely chop mushrooms (makes about 5 cups); set aside. In a large saucepan melt butter. Add onion and
celery; saute until tender, about 5 minutes; set aside. In a large mixing bowl beat eggs and cream cheese until smooth. Add bread crumbs, salt, basil, rosemary, oregano, black pepper and reserved onion and celery mixture and mushrooms. Stir until mixture is well blended and smooth. Butter a 7 x 4 x 2 inch loaf pan. Cover the long side and bottom of pan with a strip of waxed paper leaving a 1-1/2 inch overhang. Spoon mushroom mixture evenly into pan. Cover top of pan with foil. Bake until firm, about 1-1/2 hours. Cool in pan until lukewarm. Remove from pan using waxed paper overhang as an aid; discard paper. Serve at room temperature with crackers as an appetizer garnished with mushroom slices, grated carrot and chopped onion, if desired. Yield: 12 to 14 portions.

RECIPE:
Mushroom pate
Button mushrooms 200 grams
Onion 1
Garlic 4-5 cloves
Butter 25 grams
Milk powder 2 heaped teaspoons
White wine 2 tablespoons
Olive oil 2 teaspoons
Thyme 1/2 teaspoon
Salt & pepper
Chop mushrooms, onion and garlic
In a pan, heat oil and add the butter
Add the onions - toss around a bit.
Add the garlic.
When onion starts changing colour add the mushroom.
Sauté for 3-4 minutes then add the thyme. Add the wine & the milk powder. Cook on high flame till all the liquid dries up.
Cool & purée in the blender.
Serve cold

Beet root pate
Beet root 2-3
Onion - 1
Garlic - 5-6 cloves
Boiled rajma -4 tbsp
Sea salt to taste
Balsamic vinegar - 2 tsp
Apple cider vinegar - 2 tsp
Olive oil - 1 tbsp
White wine - 1 tbsp
Peanut butter - 1 tbsp
Boil, peel & chop beet root.
Chop onion & garlic.
Heat oil in the pan & add the onion, garlic & sea salt.
When onion starts browning add switch off the flame & add the wine & balsamic vinegar.
Put onions in the blender along with beet root, rajma, apple cider vinegar & peanut butter. Purée - check for salt. Serve cold

VEGAN PÂTÉ | Easy Mushroom & Walnut Spread Recipe
You asked for it... you got it! Here is our highly requested recipe for vegan pâté made with mushrooms and walnuts! This stuff tastes amazing, we've even fooled some friends with it. Use it as a spread on breads, sandwiches, crackers, canapés, etc... whatever you want, you'll want to eat it with everything. It's so easy to make and stores well in the fridge for up to 7 days. Enjoy!
Ingredients
225 gr mushrooms (we used 12 mediumish/large cremini mushrooms)
1/2 a small onion
1/2 cup walnuts
1 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp nutritional yeast
1/4 tsp ground sage (optional)
1/4 - 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
1/8 tsp pepper
Roughly slice and dice onion and mushrooms. Sauté with 1 tsp of oil on med-high heat for 5-7 minutes or until brown and most of the liquid has evaporated. Allow mushroom mixture to cool for 10 minutes. Combine sautéed mushroom & onion with the remaining ingredients in a food processor/ blender and process until smooth. Store in a airtight jar/ container in the fridge for up to 7 days.

Hi everyone!
????In this video I will show you how to make a vegan version of pate.
This mushroom pate is delicious, full of flavour and it is perfect as a snack or appetizer.

⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ RECIPE BELOW ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
Ingredients:
►500 g chestnut mushrooms
►100 g walnuts
►small bunch of fresh parsley
►1 big onion
►4 cloves of garlic
►salt& pepper to taste
►ADDITIONAL: cayenne pepper or ground cumin
►3 tbsp olive oil for frying

►1 frying pan
► 1 blender or food processor
???????????? Preparation
1. Slice the mushrooms, chop the onion, parsley and dice the garlic
2. Roast the walnuts(in the oven on in a frying pan)
3. Add 2-3 tbsp olive oil and ad the onion and the garlic and fry for around 3-4 min until caramelised
5. Add the mushrooms, stir and leave them until they get brown colour
6. Add salt and pepper, the parsley and the roasted walnuts
7. Once done, let them cool for around 10 min
8. Transfer the mixture in the blender or food processor
9. After you get the paste, transfer into a bowl
10. DONE!
