Karens Chocolate Chip Cookie video
Karen wanted to compare the Recipe from Neiman Marcus chocolate chip cookies to the recipe of Toll House chocolate chip cookies.
It turned out that its a matter of a person's likes & dislikes. The NM cookie was sweeter and crisper & the TH was chewier and less sweet. So it comes down to personal preference. They were both good.

$250 Cookies
Monday, December 2 and let the baking begin… Today will be the $250 cookies. I am sure y’all have heard about the lady who went to Neiman Marcus and was charged $250 for the recipe to a cookie she really loved. If you haven’t here it is in the cliff notes version. A lady visited a Texas branch of Neiman Marcus. After her lunch, she had a cookie for dessert. She loved the cookie so much that she asked for the recipe. When December’s bill from her credit card came there was a charge for $250. She called Neiman Marcus and inquired about the “mistake”. They confirmed not only was it not a mistake, but they charge $250 for that recipe all the time. She decided then and there this wouldn’t happen to anyone else. So she did exactly what I would have done in her place, copied it, and spread it as far as she could. Flash forward thirty or so years and here I am about to show you how to make the cookies, but give you a link to a recipe which is very similar. Please, go over and let Michelle know I sent you. I would appreciate it because that is how these channels grow.
THE $250 NEIMAN MARCUS COOKIE
12 Days of Christmas Cookies Day 5; Neiman Marcus Cookies
These cookies are ones I’ve heard about for years!! There’s an urban legend that has went around with these cookies and I finally made them! I noticed that there is several versions of this cookie, I didn’t get it from the Neiman Marcus cook book so I’m not sure if it’s the official one. But MAN! This is delicious! I love the different chocolates in this one and the ground up oats. Definitely try this out and even look up the urban legend
