How To make Moist Supper Cake
1 1/4 c Dr. Pepper, heated to
-boiling 1 c Quick-cooking oatmeal
1/2 c Shortening
1/2 c Granulated sugar
1 1/2 c Brown sugar (divided use)
2 Eggs
1 1/3 c Flour
1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Nutmeg
1/3 c Butter, melted
1/4 c Light cream
1 c Fine-grated coconut
Pour hot Dr. Pepper over oatmeal, stir and let stand 15 to 20 min. Preheat oven to 375^. With a mixer in a large bowl, cream shortening and gradually add granulated sugar and 1 cup brown sugar. Cream well. Add eggs, beating until mixture is fluffy. Sift flour with salt, soda and nutmeg. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture, mixing well. Add oatmeal mixture and mix thoroughly. Pour into a 9x9x2-inch pan, greased and floured. Bake 40 to 45 min. or until a toothpick inserted in middle of cake comes out clean. Remove from oven. Mix together butter, remaining brown sugar, cream and coconut. Spread topping over hot cake and place under broiler. Broil until topping is bubbly and lightly browned. Serve warm. Makes 12 servings. 2 sticks room temperature butter
2 cups white sugar
4 room temperature eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup yogurt OR sour cream
1 cup butter milk (I also show you how to make butter milk in the video)
3 cups of flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Bake Cake @325 degrees for 45 minutes and check your cake then bake another 5 minutes at a time as needed. I usually bake my cake for right at about 55 minutes

This recipe is an easy chocolate cake recipe which is moist and dense. this is a quick recipe even beginners can do easily.

Simple Moist Chocolate Cake Recipe

Flour :- All purposes flour/ plain flour/ Maida
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp of salt
2 tsp baking soda
1 cup butter milk
1 cup hot water
1/4 cup melted butter
1 tbsp vanilla essence
3 eggs
Bake in a preheated oven @ 200 C for about 45 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clear.
Make sure not to over mix the batter.. Some lumps in the batter is absolutely ok..
To make buttermilk add 1 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice to 1 cup milk and let it stand for 10 minutes..

13 oz (368 g) cake flour
13 oz (368 g) granulated sugar
3 tsp (14 g) baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
8 oz (227 g) unsalted butter
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
10 oz (283 g) whole milk (room temperature)
3 oz (85 g) vegetable oil
3 large eggs (room temperature)
EASY BUTTERCREAM INGREDIENTS ►
16 ounces powdered sugar
4 ounces pasteurized egg whites
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
16 ounces unsalted butter softened to room temperature but not melted
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 TINY drop purple food coloring to offset the yellow color (optional)
CAKE GOOP ►
7 oz (198 g) vegetable shortening or margarine
7.5 oz (213 g) vegetable oil (or other oil you like)
5 oz (142 g) all purpose flour
Place all ingredients in a mixer and combine until white and homogenous. Store in a covered container at room temperature or you can refrigerate it.
