How To make Mccalls Best Spice Cake
DEBBIE HOLLAND, HXRH11B 2 1/2 c Flour, sifted
1 ts Baking powder
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Salt
1 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Cloves
1/8 ts Black pepper
1/2 c Margarine, softened
1/2 c Brown sugar
1 c Sugar
2 Eggs
1 ts Vanilla extract
1 1/4 c Buttermilk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grese well and flour 2, eight inch pans or a 13x9 inch baking pan. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, soda,
cinnamon, cloves, pepper. In a large bowl use electric mixer at high speed to beat butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Occasionally scrate the sides of the bowl with a scrapper. At low speed, beat in flour mixture (in fourths) alternately with buttermilk (in thirds) beginning and ending with the flour. Beat until smooth about one minute. Pour batter into prepared pans; bake until surgace springs back when gently touched with fingertips. Layers 30-35 minutes and oblong 45 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack. Frost as desired. I have been working on this video for like two years, I think about Mr. Delicious at least once a week. He sells aluminum siding, but also goes to Bora Bora with...sex workers? Maybe? He's on his second marriage. He spends too much time at a bar called The Rusty Anchor. He is both effete and signals that he is wealthy while also being working-class? He also likes to read ROMANCE NOVELS WHILE EATING RAX?! So I guess that's what in the suitcase???

Old-Fashioned Sour Cream Cookies - Vintage Christmas Cookies Recipe - McCall's Magazine
Let's make Old-Fashioned Sour Cream Cookies. This is a recipe that I have been making for 50 years! When I started making these cookies 50 years ago, they were old-fashioned cookies, so you can imagine how old this recipe is. I believe it was originally printed in McCall's magazine some time in the early 1900s. Everyone likes these cookies because they are soft and cake-like and not too sweet. They have a nice cinnamon sugar topping.

Pumpkin Mousse Recipe - Easy Mousse Recipe
Ingredients: 8 servings (4oz)
2 1/2 tsp (7 grams) unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup (125 ml) milk
1/2 cup (100 grams) sugar
7.5-8 oz (about 225 grams) pumpkin puree ( you can watch here how to make homemade pumpkin puree )
8 oz (245 grams) sour cream
8 oz (226 grams) cool whipped (thawed)
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Serving: With whipped cream and ground cinnamon

Instructions:
1. In a small saucepan, combine 2 1/2 teaspoons of unflavored gelatin with 1/2 cup of milk. Place over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture starts to steam and gelatin dissolves. Remove from heat and cool 5-10 minutes.
2. In the bowl of a stand mixer on medium speed, combine 1/2 cup sugar, 8 ounces sour cream, 8 ounces pumpkin puree and 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin spice, mix until blended. Add 8 ounces cool whipped and mix on medium-low speed until blended, scraping the bowl as necessary.
3. With the mixer on, slowly pour in the warm milk mixture and mix until blended.
4. Immediately divide mousse between 8 (4oz) ramekins, cover and refrigerate until set, (about 2 hours) or overnight.
5. Serve with whipped cream and ground cinnamon. Enjoy! ????
