How To make Macaroni and Vegetables with Cheese Sauce
1 t Margarine
1 Garlic clove, minced
1/2 c Low fat milk (1%)
2 t All-purpose flour
1/4 t Salt
2 1/2 oz Red-fat Cheddar cheese,
Shredded and divided 1/2 t Worcestershire sauce
3/4 c Cooked elbow macaroni
1/2 c Cooked broccoli florets
1/2 c Cooked cauliflower florets
In 1-quart microwavable casserole, combine margarine and garlic; microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds, until margarine is melted. In 1-cup liquid measure, combine milk, flour and salt, stirring to disolve flour. Using a wire wisk, stir into margarine-garlic mixture. Cover and microwave on HIGH for 1 minute. Stir in 2 oz cheese and the Worcestershire sauce. Microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes, utnil mixture thickens. Add macaroni, broccoli, and cauliflower to cheese sauce and stir to coat. Microwave on Medium-High (70%) for 2 minutes, until thoroughly heated. Top with remaining cheese. Microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds, until cheese is melted. Per serving: 1/2 Milk, 1 Fat, 3 Proteins, 2 Vegetables, 1 1/2 breads, 20 Optional Calories 496 calories, 17g fat

Full recipe for Baked vegetables with white sauce
Prep time: 10 mins
Cooking time: 20 mins
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
• Butter 3 tbsp
• Refined flour (maida) 3 tbsp
• Milk 200 ml
• Salt to taste
• Pepper powder a pinch
• Nutmeg powder a pinch
• Processed cheese 200 gm
• Olive oil 1 tbsp
• Carrot ½ cup (diced & blanched)
• Mushroom ½ cup (diced)
• Green peas ½ cup (blanched)
• Sweet corn ½ cup (blanched)
• French beans ½ cup (diced & blanched)
• Capsicum ½ cup (diced)
• Broccoli florets ½ cup (blanched)
• Salt to taste
• Black pepper a pinch
• Oregano 1 tsp
• Red Chilli flakes 1 tsp
Method:
• Heat butter in a pan on medium heat, add flour, stir and cook well ensuring the colour doesn’t changes a lot.
• Add the milk slowly and gradually and keep whisking to avoid lumps.
• Add salt & pepper, nutmeg powder and grate processed cheese, mix well and cook further for 2-3 minutes, make sure the sauce is silky smooth without any lumps.
• Set a wok on medium high heat, add olive oil add the veggies, salt & pepper, oregano and chilli flakes. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, add the freshly prepared white sauce, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
• Pour the veggies with white sauce in a baking dish and grate some processed cheese over it.
• Preheat the oven for 10 mins and bake it at 180°C for 10-12 minutes.
• Serve hot with freshly toasted garlic bread.
For garlic bread
Ingredients:
• Melted butter ½ cup
• Garlic 4 tbsp (chopped)
• Fresh coriander 1 tbsp (chopped)
• Garlic bread 1 loaf
Method:
• Mix the melted butter with finely chopped garlic and fresh coriander leaves.
• Slice the garlic bread loaf diagonally and apply the freshly made garlic butter on the bread slice surface.
• Heat a grill pan or a normal pan on medium heat, toast the garlic bread on both the sides until crisp and golden brown.

- 3-4 Garlic Cloves Minced
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 2 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Olive Oil
- 30g Honey
- 40g BBQ Sauce Reduced Sugar (Brand: Tescos)
- 225g Uncooked Macaroni Pasta | 500g Cooked Weight
- 250ml Skimmed Milk
- 60ml Hot Sauce (Brand: @sauce_shop i used buffalo sauce, you can use sriracha or any hot sauce you like - also use less if too spicy)
- 120g Light Cream Cheese (Brand: Philadelphia Lightest)
- 40g Low Fat Cheddar Cheese

Important Cooking Notes:
- Cook the chicken on medium high heat for 3-4 mins each side till golden brown
- Make sure you TURN OFF the heat before adding honey and BBQ sauce
- For the creamy sauce, add all ingredients on low heat then stir gently with a whisk preferably till it thickens and is smooth
- You can freeze these meals and reheat in a pan or microwave. Keep in the fridge for up to 4 days

Creamy Broccoli Mac and Cheese - The EASIEST and CREAMIEST mac and cheese made in less than 30 min! Comfort food perfection! And it is the perfect way to sneak in those greens!
INGREDIENTS:
8 ounces medium pasta shells
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 shallot, minced
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/3 cups whole milk
1 cup half and half
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
3 cups chopped broccoli florets
6 ounces extra-sharp cheddar cheese, grated
DIRECTIONS:
1. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta according to package instructions; drain well.
2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add garlic and shallot, and cook, stirring frequently, until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
3. Whisk in flour until lightly browned, about 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk, half and half and Dijon until slightly thickened, about 3-4 minutes. If the mixture is too thick, add more milk as needed; season with salt and pepper, to taste.
4. Stir in pasta, broccoli and cheese until well combined, about 3-4 minutes.
5. Serve immediately.
