How To make Macaroni Supper Casserole
2 c Elbow macaroni(8oz)
Salt 3 qt Water,boiling
2 tb Corn oil
3 c Onion,pearl whole
1 Garlic clove,large,crushed
1 cn Tomatoes,undrained(16oz)
2 ts Sugar
1 cn Tomato paste(6oz)
2 Eggs
1 cn Cottage cheese(16oz)
2 pk Spinach,chopped(10oz)
3 c Cheddar cheese,grated(3/4#)
1 ts Sage,ground
1. Gradualyy add macaroni and 1 tablespoon salt to rapidly boiling water so
water continues to boil.~ 2. Cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until tender; drain in colander.~ 3. Heat oil in large saucepan.~ 4. Add onions and garlic; saute over medium heat, stirring constantly, until onions are almost tender, about 3 minutes.~ 5. Stir in undrained tomatoes; break up tomatoes with spoon.~ 6. Stir in sugar, tomato paste and 1/2 teaspoon salt.~ 7. Beat eggs in a bowl until light; stir in cottage cheese, spinach, 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, sage and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Mix well.~ 8. In an
ungreased 13x9-inch baking dish, arrange in layers; a third of the tomato sauce, half the macaroni, a third of the Cheddar cheese and half the spinach mixture.~ 9. Repeat layering; spread the remaining sauce on the spinach layer and spinkle the remaining cheese around the edges of the casserole.~ 10. Cover with foil and bake in preheated 400'F. oven 25 minutes.~ 11. Uncover and bake 5 minutes longer, or until mixture is hot and bubbly and cheese is melted.~

Egyptian Macaroni Bechamel Casserole Recipe ~ Baked Macaroni with Bechamel Sauce
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound Penne pasta - cooked and drained
Grated Parmesan cheese
parsley for garnish
MEAT SAUCE:
1 pound ground beef
1 medium diced onion
3-4 cloves minced garlic
1 3/4 cup tomato sauce
1 tbsp. tomato paste
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. thyme
salt and black pepper to taste
handful of fresh parsley
In skillet on med heat add oil and minced onion. Cook and stir one minute.
Add minced garlic and cook another 30 seconds.
Add ground beef, cook, chop and stir for 5 minutes or until no longer pink.
Add seasonings and tomato paste. Cook and stir for one minute.
Slowly add tomato sauce, bring to simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Remove from heat, add fresh parsley, stir and set to the side.
BECHAMEL SAUCE:
5 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. flour
4 cups milk
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
salt and black pepper
4 oz. cheese - monterey jack
grated parmesan cheese
1 egg to temper
In skillet on med heat add butter and flour. Cook and stir until butter melted
and cook for one minute.
Slowly add milk and stir in between batches.
Add seasonings, cook and stir until sauce slightly thickens.
Remove from heat.
Add tempered egg and stir to incorporate.
Add cheese and stir until melted.
Add 2-3 ladles or 1/3 of the Bechamel sauce to pasta and stir.
ASSEMBLY:
One ladle of Bechamel sauce on bottom.
Half of pasta and gently tamp.
Sprinkle grated cheese.
All of meat mixture and level out.
Sprinkle grated cheese.
Rest of past and gently tamp.
Pour rest of Bechamel sauce on top and level.
Bake 400 degrees Farenheit for 35-40 minutes
Enjoy.

1 lb ground beef
1 cup red onion, chopped
½ cup tomatoes, canned, diced, or crushed
¼ cup celery, chopped
¼ cup bell pepper, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp parsley, chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp dried oregano
For Cheese Sauce:
2 cups milk
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 tbsp parmesan cheese, powdered or grated
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
⅛ tsp cayenne pepper
To Serve:
parsley, chopped
parmesan cheese, grated or powdered
⬇️ How to make Beef Macaroni Casserole ⬇️
0:11 Pour the olive oil onto the pan.
0:13 Saute the beef until it is fully caramelized.
0:20 Add red onion, celery, bell pepper, and garlic. Saute all together until the onion and garlic are translucent.
0:31 Add parsley, oregano, tomatoes, and elbow macaroni.
Continue sauteing for 2-3 minutes.
0:43 Season with salt & black pepper. Adjust seasoning according to taste.
0:54 Melt the butter over medium heat.
0:56 Add all-purpose flour.
0:58 Whisk all together until a roux is formed.
0:59 Add milk and continue simmering for 5 minutes.
1:07 Add cheddar cheese, ground nutmeg, and cayenne pepper. Whisk until combined.
1:17 Preheat the oven to maximum temperature to broil.
1:21 Transfer beef macaroni to the baking casserole.
1:22 Pour the cheese sauce evenly on top.
1:24 Add parmesan cheese.
1:27 Bake for 8-10 minutes until the cheese has melted and caramelized evenly.
