How To make Macadamia Nut Lace Cookies
3/4 c Butter
1 c Light brown sugar; packed
3/4 c Dark corn syrup
1 1/2 c All-purpose flour
1 c Macadamias; finely chopped
In a medium saucepan, stirring until the sugar dissolves, bring the butter, sugar and syrup just to a boil. Remove from heat and reserve. In a small bowl, stir together the flour and macadamias; stir into the mixture in the saucepan. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls, 4 inches apart, onto well-greased and floured cookie sheets. Bake in a preheated 325 degree oven until golden brown - 8 to 10 minutes. Cool 1 minutes, then with a wide metal spatula, carefully remove to wire racks. If cookies harden before they are removed from sheet, reheat in oven for 2 or 3 minutes to soften. Cool completely. If any pan coating adheres to cookies, use a pastry brush to brush it off. Store in tightly covered containers. -----

Lace cookies are a favorite in our household. The thin, crisp, and almost transparent of this lace cookie recipe is amazing. The splendid cookies are exceedingly easy to make too. They are delicate and melt in your mouth. The other day, I found my daughter with the tin open, eating them while watching a video for school. Oh boy, these are dangerously good. Visit the post at
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups uncooked oatmeal
1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup melted butter
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Step 1: Mix oatmeal, sugar, flour, and salt in a bowl. Then, mix well.
Step 2: Stir in butter; add egg and vanilla and combine well.
Step 3: Arrange batter on a lined baking sheet by half-teaspoonfuls. They should be about 2 inches apart on a lined parchment paper cookie sheet.
Step 4: Bake at 350 degrees until lightly browned around the edges. About 5 minutes.
Step 5: Let get firm (5 minutes at least) away from the oven, then remove cookies from parchment paper by bending the parchment paper back away from the cookie.
