Fun and colorful, this family-friendly dessert-style pizza is the perfect sweet treat for after dinner.
1 cup M&M’S Milk Chocolate, divided 1 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 cup butter, melted 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 2 tbsp granulated sugar 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/4 cup chocolate candy melts, melted
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and line 8-inch springform pan, cake pan or cast-iron skillet with parchment paper; set aside. 2. Save 2/3 cup M&M’S for topping; set aside. Chop remaining M&M’S; set aside. 3. In bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. In separate bowl, blend together butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar with wooden spoon. Mix in egg and vanilla. Blend in flour mixture just until combined. Stir in chopped M&M’s. 4. Press dough into prepared pan; bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until edges are lightly golden brown and top of cookie is set. 5. In microwavable bowl, melt chocolate in microwave on High for 30 to 90 seconds or until melted. Spread over cookie “pizza crust.” Sprinkle with reserved M&M’s. Let stand for 15 to 20 minutes or until cooled and top is set.
Tip: Add peanuts or pretzels for extra crunch!
