How To make Lone Star Brisket
6 lb Beef Brisket
well trimmed
2 Onions :
sliced
1 clove Garlic minced
3/4 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Vinegar
1 cup Ketchup
1 cup Water
1 Tbsp Salt
Pepper :
freshly ground
Place brisket in Dutch oven and brown on all sides. Add onions and garlic; saute until well browned. Add remaining ingredients. Cook, covered, until meat is tender, 2 1/2-3 hours.
Or, to prepare in a crockpot, brown brisket, onions, and garlic as above. Transfer all into large crockpot, along with remaining ingredients. Cook on low 10-12 hours or overnight or until meat is tender.

Brisket Cook Off!! (Lone Star Grillz vs Traeger)
Just a little cook comparison between the Lone Star Grillz 20x36 Offset and the Traeger Pro 34 Pellet grill to see which brisket turns out better. Both were seasoned with Uncle Steve's Original Shake, SuckleBusters Campfire Steak Seasoning, and Kosmos Q Cow Cover Rub. Man Oh Man, it was some good eating at The Roadhouse!!!

Overnight smoked brisket on the Lone Star Grillz Insulated Mini
This is the third part of my whole packer brisket series. If you missed the other 2 videos go check them out I showed how to trim a brisket and what to do with everything I trimmed off.
As for this cook I started off by seasoning the brisket with a homemade rub using Redmond's Real Salt, Chili Joe from Crave Spices, black pepper and garlic powder. then I let it dry brine for 24 hrs.
I smoked it on my Lone Star Grillz Insulated Mini with Jealous Devil Chunx and Max Briquettes. I added oak wood for smoke flavor.
When it was done I gave the brisket a bath in smoked tallow then a long rest.
