How To make Italian Style Vegetables with Pasta (Lf)
2 tb Stock, Vegetable;*
1 ea Pepper, red; seeded and
-coarsely chopped 1 ea Pepper, green; seeded and
-coarsely chopped 1 ea Pepper, yellow; seeded and
-coarsely chopped 2 sm Zucchini; cut into 1/2 inch
-slices 1/2 md Onions, red; chopped
1 cl Garlic; minced
14 oz Tomatoes, whole; peeled in
-sauce 4 lg Tomatoes, sun-dried; softend
-& chopped 2 tb Fresh oregano; chopped or
-1/2 tsp dried 2 tb Fresh basil; chopped or
-1/2 tsp dried 1/2 ts Salt, sea;
1/2 ts Pepper, black; freshly grnd
4 ea 2 1/2 oz servings of your
-favorite pasta
PER SERVNG=1C PASTA&1C SAUCE:
280 x *cals
1 7/8 x *gm fat
481 1/4 x *mg sodium Heat a large skillet. Add the stock and all the ingredients except the pasta. Cover and cook over medium-low heat for 15 to 20 minutes, or until al dente. Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain well and serve with the vegetable sauce. Makes 4 servings. One serving is equal to 1 cup pasta and 1 cup sauce. *I used the water from soaking the sun-dried tomatoes instead of the vegetable broth. We really enjoyed this, it's DELICIOUS! INGREDIENTS
Penne Pasta 250 grams
Bell Pepper Yellow -1
Bell Pepper Red – 1
Zucchini – 1
Broccoli – 1
Baby corn - 8
RED SAUCE/ MARINARA SAUCE :
Garlic – finely cut – 2 TSP
Onions- finely cut – 2
Tomatoes – 5-6
Tomato Paste
Tomato Puree
Cheddar Cheese - 1 TBSP
Parmesan Cheese
Black Pepper Powder – ½ TSP
Basil Leaves -10
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt
Sugar

Pasta In Red And White Sauce - Easy To Make Italian Style Pasta With Indian Twist | Ruchi Bharani
Learn how to make pasta in red and white sauce.
Pasta is undoubtedly a comfort food at its best. Chef Ruchi Bharani brings you an easy, hassle-free and extremely delicious pasta recipe that calls for a variety of flavorful ingredients that blend beautifully in red and white sauce and taste delicious.
Ingredients:
1 cup milk
100g Penne Pasta
2 tomatoes
1 tbsp red chilli flakes
1 tbsp garlic - chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 capsicum - chopped
1 zcchini - chopped
1 1/2 tbsp tomato sauce
few basil leaves
2 tbsp cheese
1/2 tsp dry oregano
1 tbsp fresh celery
Salt to taste
Method:
- In a pan, heat butter.
- Add the plain flour to it and cook for a few seconds.
- Once it changes the colour slightly, add the milk. Keep whisking and bring it to a boil. Cook it until it's thick.
- Once the sauce is thick, get it off the flame.
- In another pan, heat butter.
- Once the butter melts, add the chopped onion and let it cook for a few seconds.
- Add the garlic paste, chopped capsicum and zucchini and let them cook for a few seconds.
- Add the tomato pulp to the above ingredients and let it cook for atleast 7 - 8 minutes.
- Add the ketchup, fresh basil leaves, dried oregano and red chilli flakes and stir well.
- Add some water and stir.
- Add the white sauce to the above ingredients and mix well.
- Add the cheese and salt and mix well.
- Add the boiled penne pasta to the sauce and stir well.
- The delicious pasta is ready to be served.
