How To make Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs
Leftover bread slices 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dired basil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Save leftover bread and dry it (either out on your counter or in the oven at 250F for about 15 minutes) until completely dry and crisp.
Using your food processor, blender, or by rolling with a rolling pin between sheets of waxed paper, make fine bread crumbs. Save these crumbs. They are useful in a wide variety of ways.
When you have an ample supply, take out 2 cups and mix with the remaining ingredients noted above.
Store in an airtight container in your refrigerator and use within 2 months.

How to Make Italian Style Breadcrumbs
Learn how easy and quick it is to make your own Italian style bread crumbs from plain white bread without all the unnecessary salt and MSG! It's also much cheaper than buying it in those canister containers in the grocery store. You can use day old fresh bread, dinner rolls, extra toast from Sunday's breakfast or even wheat bread if you want them a bit healthier. It's all up to you!
You can use these in meatloaf, meatballs, as a coating for mozzarella sticks, jalapeno poppers, onion rings, etc. Anything that calls for breadcrumbs, you can use these for that.
What you'll need:
6 slices plain bread
1 Tbsp Italian herbs or seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
Tear up the slices of bread and place into your food processor. Add in the herbs and spices. Pulse 10-12 times or until they resemble small crumbs. Spread out onto a cookie sheet and bake in a preheated 300*F oven for 6 minutes, stirring after 3. Let cool and store in an airtight container for up to 1 month. Enjoy!

In this episode we are going to make Italian chicken cutlets (Milanese). There are a few tricks to making a good cutlet and today we'll go over all of them. I'll show you how to make a flavorful seasoned breadcrumb mix loaded with Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. We'll also go over fileting and pounding out the cutlets and how to fry the chicken until it's golden and delicious! Also, don't forget to make the dish at the end with the juicy fried cutlets.
