S01:EP25 - Easy Seared Tuna Bites (Delicate Medium Rare Seared Tuna Recipe with Sesame Seeds)
Tuna. It runs the gamut from barely tolerable pucks of dismal, grey, canned fishy-flesh, to wondrously pink, fresh, clean, and light slices of heavenly seafood. Today’s dish lies on the latter end of that spectrum. It's a surprisingly easy, delectable preparation of seared tuna with sesame seeds.
We’re taking a beautiful cut of fresh tuna, searing it to perfection, and serving it simply and elegantly. It's a seared tuna recipe you can trust.
We’re making: Easy Seared Tuna Bites.

Chargrilled Tuna Salad, Italian Style
Italian Style Salad with Fennel Chargrilled vegetables and Fresh Tuna.
A delicious tuna salad packed with healthy ingredients. The tuna is freshly grilled, although you could use canned if not available fresh. I do however recommend the fresh version! The vegetables are first char grilled using a griddle on high heat. The fennel is sliced very thinly, if your knife skills are not up to scratch, then use a mandolin to obtain nice thin slices.
I used fresh oregano but dried will work fine too. The dressing is an Italian style dressing, don’t over dress the salad, you want it crisp but not saturated. Best to add more later. You’ll need to keep some aside to top the tuna at the end.
Enjoy this tuna salad Italian style today, or tomorrow, or the day after, but enjoy it!

Grilled Tuna with Puttanesca Sauce
With this grilled tuna recipe, you can have a delicious and colorful dish on the table in minutes! Tuna steaks are relatively easy to grill, given that they are dense and don’t tend to flake or fall apart when cooked. Just remember to oil your grill just prior to putting the steaks on (see my tuna grilling tips that I shared with Tom Green on Denver’s CW affiliate, KWGN - at
The flavor of the grilled tuna blends perfectly with our intensely-flavored Puttanesca sauce of tomatoes, olives, capers, garlic, lemon juice, anchovy paste and oregano. Salty, sweet while still tangy, and a bit spicy, this sauce is quick and easy to prepare - and looks beautiful on the plate. Find the recipe and more cooking inspiration here:
