How To make Hot 'N Spicy Chicken Soft Tacos
1 1/2 lb Skinless, boneless chicken
-breasts (cut in strips, no more than -1/4" wide) 1 Whole med. size white onion,
-cut into strips or diced 2 tb Red chile powder
1 ts Curry powder
1/2 ts Ground cumin (optional)
1 Pressed garlic clove (or 3/4
-tsp. garlic powder) 1 ts Salt (salt to taste if
-desired) 1 ts Lemon and pepper, or 1 tsp.
-grated lemon peel -(optional) 3/4 c Water (or wine)
2 tb Olive oil
1 tb Vegetable oil
Recommended Fillings & Wrapper: Flour Tortillas, Cheddar Cheese, Tomatoes Lettuce, Onion, Salsa. Preparation: In glass or stainless steel bowl combine all ingredients except olive oil and vegetable oil. Mix thoroughly to spread spices over chicken, water should be completely absorbed, refrigerate for 1 hour. After refrigeration add Olive oil, and stir until chicken is well coated with oil, spice aromas will be noticeably lighter. Heat Vegetable oil in non-stick pan, and add mixture, frying on medium heat. Cover until water has separated from chicken, and is boiling. Leave uncovered, on low heat, to simmer until almost all water has evaporated. Total cook time is less than ten minutes, do not overcook. Place prepared mixture in center of flour tortillas, add cheese and other fillings as desired (suggestions above). Fold in half, or roll like burrito. Top with beans or spanish rice. Serves 4-6. Spicy Chicken Tacos
Spicy Chicken Taco Time
Serves 4 or two hungry people
Spice Rub
1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 Tablespoon Mexican Chilli Powder
1/2 Tablespoon Cumin Powder
1 Tablespoon Paprika
Salt & Pepper
2 Skinless Chicken Breasts
1/2 Lime
Pico De Gallo
2 Tomatoes, Diced
1/2 Red Onion, Diced
5 Slices Jalapeno’s
1/3 Cup of Parsley, chopped
1/2 Lime
Salt & Pepper
Toppings
1/2 Red Onion, Sliced
Olive oil
Sour Cream
Soft Tacos
Toasted Corn
Method
In a large bowl add all of the Spice rub ingredients and mix well to combine.
On a chopping board slice up your chicken breast into strips and leave aside.
For the Pico De Gallo in a bowl add diced tomatoes, red onion, jalapeños, parsley. Squeeze in juice from half a lime and salt & Pepper - mix to combine.
In a pan on low - medium heat drizzle in some olive oil and add the onions, cook the onions for about 10 minutes or until translucent.
Time to get the chicken cooking, in a pan on low - medium heat add a drizzle of olive oil then add in the chicken until you can see the chicken becoming slightly browned, add in the spice mix and coat all of the chicken then squeeze over the other half of the lime juice, cook for a further couple of minutes until the chicken is completely cooked.
In a pan add a drizzle of oil then add in a can of drained corn then cook the corn for about 10 minutes until it gets golden & crispy.
To serve the tacos, lay down your taco add chicken, pico de Gallo, sour cream, red onion, corn & serve with a wedge of lime. Enjoy lovelies xxx

A taco is a traditional Mexican dish composed of a corn or wheat tortilla folded or rolled around a filling.With yummy chicken filling and salsa sauce enjoy the mexican tacos made by chef Varun Inamdar only on Get Curried.
Ingredients
1/2 cup onion chopped
1 no. red pepper chopped
1 no. green pepper chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic smashed.
1 tsp paprika powder
1 tbsp tsp cumin powder
500 gms chicken mince
12 corn taco shells
Salsa
1 large tomato
1 medium onion
2 tbsp fresh parsely
2-3 green chillies
1 tsp tabassco
1/2 lemon (juice)
Salt
Guacamole
1 ripe avocados
½ lime
Salt as required
2 tbsp fresh cream
Method
- Chop the veggies
- In a pan heat some olive oil and then add the veggies and saute them
- Add minced chicken and cook it on a high flame
- Add salt, paprika and roasted cumin powder
- Roughly chop the garlic and add it into the pan and stir it properly
- Once the chicken is cooked properly turn off the flame and keep it aside to cool
- Chop onion,green chillies and tomato and mix them together
- Also chop some parsley, salt and juice of lemon mix it and add tabasco
- In a bowl add the avocado, salt, cream and juice of lemon
- Whisk it all together
- Shred the lettuce leaves
- In a taco shell put lettuce leaves, chicken filling, salsa and guacamole
- Chicken Mexican Taco is ready to be served.
