How To make Hot 'N Spicy Chicken Soft Tacos
1 1/2 lb Skinless, boneless chicken
-breasts (cut in strips, no more than -1/4" wide) 1 Whole med. size white onion,
-cut into strips or diced 2 tb Red chile powder
1 ts Curry powder
1/2 ts Ground cumin (optional)
1 Pressed garlic clove (or 3/4
-tsp. garlic powder) 1 ts Salt (salt to taste if
-desired) 1 ts Lemon and pepper, or 1 tsp.
-grated lemon peel -(optional) 3/4 c Water (or wine)
2 tb Olive oil
1 tb Vegetable oil
Recommended Fillings & Wrapper: Flour Tortillas, Cheddar Cheese, Tomatoes Lettuce, Onion, Salsa. Preparation: In glass or stainless steel bowl combine all ingredients except olive oil and vegetable oil. Mix thoroughly to spread spices over chicken, water should be completely absorbed, refrigerate for 1 hour. After refrigeration add Olive oil, and stir until chicken is well coated with oil, spice aromas will be noticeably lighter. Heat Vegetable oil in non-stick pan, and add mixture, frying on medium heat. Cover until water has separated from chicken, and is boiling. Leave uncovered, on low heat, to simmer until almost all water has evaporated. Total cook time is less than ten minutes, do not overcook. Place prepared mixture in center of flour tortillas, add cheese and other fillings as desired (suggestions above). Fold in half, or roll like burrito. Top with beans or spanish rice. Serves 4-6. EASY AUTHENTIC HOMEMADE MEXICAN SHREDDED CHICKEN TACOS!
IN THIS VIDEO:
I show you how to make the easiest authentic mexican shredded tacos at home! Just because we're stuck inside, that does not mean we have to sacrifice flavor. With this simple recipe you'll be able to enjoy delicious tacos right in the comfort of your own home!
RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
5-6 chicken thighs
4-5 bay leaves
1 white onion
5 cloves of garlic
1/2 green bell pepper
4 chile guajillos
3 roma tomatoes
1 tsp cumin
1-2 TBSP oil of choice
Salt and pepper to taste
Instant corn masa. I used Masa Brosa in this video because they were out Maseca that day. But preferably Maseca if you can find it. Just follow the instructions on the back. You can usually find it at most grocery stores in the international foods aisle.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Bring a pot of water to a boil. We want to season season the chicken a bit. Add chicken thighs to boiling water. Crunch up the bay leaves and add them in. Add 1/2 the onion. Add the bell pepper. Add 2 cloves of garlic. Add salt and pepper.
Once chicken is done take it out. Let it cool and shred and set aside.
For the sauce take a smaller pot of water and rehydrate your dried Chile guajillos. Add Chile de árbol for more spice if you'd like. This should only take 3-4 minutes. Once they're rehydrated take them out, let them cool, cut in half and remove the seeds.
To a blender add there other 1/2 of the onion. Add the 3 tomatoes, Chile guajillos, 3 cloves of garlic, salt, pepper, and some of the water from the chicken pot. Add enough just to cover the ingredients and blend.
Once blended pass through a strainer to leave the chunky bits out. ONLY IF YOU WANT TO. Sheesh lol I've seen some of y'all in the comments ????
Heat up another pot on medium heat. Add oil and sauce. Bring to a simmer and add in your shredded chicken. Let simmer for about 20 minutes stirring occasionally. After that it's ready to serve.
Make your own tortillas or buy them whatever your preference. Serve with white or Spanish rice if you'd like too. Do whatever you want ????

Yummy Spicy Chicken Tacos Recipe
We have never met anyone who doesn’t love a good taco. These are packed with spicy chicken and loaded with trimmings to tingle your taste buds. They’re perfect for a family gathering or Saturday night fiesta.
Recipe:
Easy Chicken Tacos To Make For Friends
An appetizing and wonderful taco recipe, perfect for you and your friends!
Ingredients:
600 gm chicken
1 tbsp cooking oil
¾ tsp salt
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
2½ tbsp plain yoghurt
½ tbsp roasted cumin
1 tsp red chilli kashmiri
¼ tsp turmeric
½ tsp oregano
1 tsp lime juice
Hot charcoal
1 tsp ghee
1 cup cucumber
½ cup tomato
½ red onion
¼ cup coriander
2 tbsp lime juice
Salt
Pepper
Tortilla bread
Cheese
Instructions:
1. Firstly, add the diced chicken into a bowl and then drizzle cooking oil all over.
2. Add salt, ginger paste, garlic paste, plain yoghurt, roasted cumin, red chilli kashmiri, turmeric and mix all of it together very well.
3. After this, add oregano and lime juice - stir well.
4. In a separate pan, add cooking oil and place the pieces of chicken into it one by one.
5. Make sure to flip the chicken pieces over to ensure they become fully cooked.
6. In the middle of the pan, make space for a small bowl.
7. Add charcoal into the small bowl and 1 tsp of ghee.
8. Cover the pan with a lid for 1 minute.
9. After 1 minute, remove the lid and take out the bowl containing charcoal.
10. Take the chicken pieces out of the pan and put onto a plate aside.
11. In a different bowl, add cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, coriander, lime juice, salt and pepper - mix together thoroughly.
12. In a different pan, add a drizzle of oil and cook the tortilla.
13. Whilst cooking the tortilla, place the chicken across the middle of the bread and sprinkle cheese over.
14. Fold the tortilla in half and hold for 15 seconds until crispy.
15. Take the taco out of the pan, and place onto a plate.
16. Fill the taco with the salad dressing.
17. You may also add any types of sauces e.g. spicy mayo.
18. Your tacos are ready to enjoy!
