How To make Homemade Bran Flakes
2 c Bran
2 c Whole wheat flour
1/2 c Nonfat dry milk powder
3 tb Brewer's yeast (optional)
1 t Salt
1/4 c Oil
1 tb Molasses
1 c Water
Combine dry ingredients. Make a well in the center and add oil,molasses and water. Mix well. Divide into three parts and roll out as thin as possible on greased cookie sheets. bake in 350 F oven 15-20 minutes, or until lightly browned and crisp. If dough is not completely dry, turn oven off and let it remain longer. Break into small pieces. Store in airtight container. Makes 1 lb of cereal. Origin: Homemaking booklet, Mormon Church, 1978. Healthy Reese’s Cereal
Healthy Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Healthy Pop Tarts
Paleo Healthy Trix Cereal
3/4 cup almond flour
1 cup tapioca flour
1/3 cup coconut sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup coconut oil
1 egg
heaping tbsp of finely ground freeze dried fruit for each flavour you want! for the peach i added 1/4 tsp spirulina for color and you can’t taste it
325F for 15 minutes, then let cool so that they get crisp and crunchy!
