How To make Herbed French Bread
Ingredients
1/4
cup
butter, or margarine
2
tablespoon
oil, olive or vegetable
1
each
garlic, clove, minced
3
tablespoon
parmesan cheese, grated
2
tablespoon
chives, freah, chopped
1
teaspoon
mustard, dijon
1
each
french bread, loaf, sliced
Directions:
Melt butter in a saucepan. Add oil and garlic; saute until garlic is tender. Remove from the heat; stir in parmesan, chives and mustard. Cool for 5 minutes or until creamy. Spread on one side of each slice of bread. Place with buttered side up on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 6-8 minutes or broil servings.

In this recipe:
600g all purpose flour
2 cups warm water
1 pouch active dry yeast
1 tsp. salt
1.5 TBS thyme
1 tsp black pepper
1 TBS Bette than Bullion roasted garlic soup base
Directions:
*Bloom the yeast in the water
*mix salt, flour and spices
*add better than bullion to water and yeast
*create a well, combine the wet and dry ingredients until shaggy dough is formed and everything is well combined.
*cover and let rise in a warm place 1.5-2 hours.
*fold the dough in on itself
*cover and rise again 1.5-2 hours
*pre heat oven to 450 and put the dutch oven in for one hour
*flour and shape dough into a ball and put in oiled bowl for one hour while dutch oven heats
*turn out dough into dutch oven, dust with flour
*bake for 30 minutes with lid on, 15 with lid off

Easy Artisan Garlic Rosemary Bread (No Knead)

Ingredients:
3 c. all purpose flour (plus additional for surface)
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. yeast
1 1/2 c. hot water (keep below 130 degrees)
2 Tbs. minced garlic
1 Tbs. fresh or dried rosemary
Few sprinkles of Parmesan for top of dough
Directions:
Preheat oven and Dutch oven to 450 degrees.
Mix flour, salt, yeast, hot water, garlic and rosemary in a medium bowl.
Mix well incorporating all flour. Cover with plastic wrap and place in a draft free location for 3 hours.
After bread has risen, flour surface and add dough. Using a pastry scraper, fold dough over a few times and form into ball.
Place a piece of parchment paper in a clean bowl and add dough.
Cover with a hand towel and let rest until oven has reached 450 degrees.
Sprinkle dough with Parmesan. Place parchment paper and dough in Dutch oven and cover with lid. Cook for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, remove parchment paper and lid. Cook for an additional 15-20 minutes until bread is beautifully brown and crusty.
Let cool and slice with a serrated knife.
Bread is best served same day.

This is my Most Favourite bread loaf recipe with plenty of fragrant herbs that will make you keep this recipe pinned for many future uses. With easy and simple ingredients, and step-by-step very clear instructions, you will be successful like me in making this! Happy Cooking!
Ingredients:
3 eggs
120ml milk
180g all-purpose flour
10g baking powder
90ml vegetable oil
100g grated cheese of your choice (I used Emmenthal. Cheeses that can be used: gruyere, mild cheddar or provolone. Cheses to avoid: strong-flavored or too soft. Examples: rocquefort, mozzarella, feta, ricotta etc)
2 red onions, sliced
half of a handful of : mint, basil, parsley, coriander and chives
salt and pepper to taste

●1/4 cup water
●1/4 cup margarine
●1/2 cup minced onion
●1 clove garlic, minced
●1/2 teaspoon salt
●1 tablespoon minced parsley
●2 tablespoons margarine

Freshly baked garlic flavoured bread loaded with dried herbs.
HERB GARLIC BREAD
Ingredients
2 cups + 2 teaspoons refined flour (maida)
2 teaspoons fresh yeast
2 teaspoons castor sugar
1 tablespoon chopped fresh mixed herbs
1½ tbsps finely chopped garlic
2 tablespoons butter + for brushing
1 tablespoon oil
Milk for brushing
Garlic powder for sprinkling
Dried mixed herbs for sprinkling
Method
1. Put yeast in a bowl. Add castor sugar and 2 tablespoons warm water, mix well and set aside to activate.
2. Sift flour in another bowl. Add garlic, fresh herbs and activated yeast and mix well.
3. Add some water and knead. Add butter and knead to a soft dough. Cover with a damp muslin cloth and set aside to prove for 20 minutes.
4. Preheat oven to 180°C.
5. Knock back the dough, add oil, knead, shape into a loaf and transfer on a baking tray. Cover with a damp muslin cloth and set aside to prove for 20 minutes.
6. Brush some milk, sprinkle garlic powder and dried herbs on top of the bread. Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
7. Brush some butter on top and serve.
