How To make Ham & Rice Balls
1 c Long-grain rice;cook,no salt
1 c Cooked ham; bite-sized
Salad oil 1 md Celery rib; chop fine
1 sm Onion; chop fine
6 oz Fontina cheese; shredded
1/3 c Frozen peas; thawed
2 tb Parmesan
1 tb Parsley; chopped
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Pepper
1/2 c Dried bread crumbs
1 lg Egg
14 oz Jar diavolo or marinara
-sauce In processor blend ham until ground. In 2tb hot oil, coook celery and onion until very tender. Remove skillet from heat; stir in cooked rice, ham, fontinia, peas, Parmesan, parsley, salt and pepper. Divide rice mixture into 12 equal portions. With hands, shape into a ball. On waxed paper, place bread crumbs. In pie plate, beat egg. Dip balls in egg, then into crumbs to coat. Wipe skillet clean. In same skillet in 1/2 c hot oil, cook balls, turning frequently, until evenly browned and heated through, about 15 minutes. To serve, heat sauce until hot. Serve rice balls with sauce. (wrv)

How to Make Onigiri (Japanese Rice Balls Recipe) | OCHIKERON | Create Eat Happy :)
Rice ball is called Onigiri in Japanese. Mostly it's shape is triangle and you can either mix ingredients into rice or fill your favorite ingredient in the rice ball, or both!
There are many furikake (rice seasoning) products at Asian grocery stores, so try out and see how you like it done :D

Ingredients (2 rice balls)
160g (5.7oz.) cooked white Japanese rice
Furikake (rice seasoning) or filling of your choice
How to Use Furikake:
1. Place cooked rice in a bowl.
2. Mix Furikake of your choice according to the amount written on its package.
3. Wet your hands with water so that the rice won't stick.
4. Place the seasoned rice on your hand.
5. Form the rice into a triangle, round, or cylinder by pressing lightly with your palms.
How to Use Filling:
1. Place cooked rice in a bowl.
2. Wet your hands with water so that the rice won't stick.
3. Place the rice on your hand.
4. Make a hole in the center of the rice and place the filling.
5. Form the rice into a triangle, round, or cylinder by pressing lightly with your palms.
You can wrap your Onigiri with a strip or a sheet of Nori seaweed if you prefer.

Homemade Ham Sui Gok/Fried Glutinous Rice Dumpling
Ingredients:
300g Minced pork
50g Sweet pickled radish
2 cloves Garlic
20g Dry shrimps(pre-soaked)
60g Shiitake mushrooms
40g Spring onions
250ml Water
1tbsp Shaoshing wine
2tsp Light soy sauce
1/4tsp White pepper powder
1/2tsp Sugar
2tbsp Oyster sauce
1/8tsp Sesame oil
2.5tbsp Diluted potato starch
Dough:

130ml Water
50g Sugar
100g+65g Glutinous rice flour
8g Lard
